    iBasso DX150. Dual dacs and interchangeable AMPs. **NEW Firmware that supports AMP9! ** New FIRMWARE 1.05 Dec 30.

    Have you tried the Dc-01 yet ? Impressions ? I've ordered one from Penon, for the specs it seems a bargain.

    On the subject of the Ibasso AMP9, is there any reason it only comes with a 3.5mm single ended output ?

    I just received my M11 this week and so far I'm loving it. One problem though, I can't seem to get Airplay to work. I'm trying to connect to my Sonos speakers. I start the Airplay app and it doesn't do anything, it just sits on the start screen. Any ideas ?

    As an electrical engineer I was very sceptical about “burn in”, but in my experience 100 hours of use made a huge difference to my 99 classics. It really did tighten up the bass, lost the boomy, veiled sound, they became a hugely enjoyable listen. I bought a pair of ibasso IT01’s for listening...

    None of your sources will be compatible with a balanced cable, you’ll need a source with a balanced output. I use the ibasso dx200 with the amp 8 fitted, it uses a 4.4mm balanced output. I did have to buy a 4.4 to 2.5 ibasso adapter tho. Hope this helps.

    Once you get 100+ hours on them you’ll notice a significant improvement, at least I did. They really do scale well, I use mine with an iBasso DX200, I recently swapped the stock Amp1 for the Amp 8 and I am blown away. All genres sound amazing with this set up. Jazz is sublime, rock is awesome...

    In my opinion a balanced cable does make an appreciable difference. Meze are currently selling the entry level balanced cable at half price, it’s the one I use.

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    Hi Guys, I'm not sure this is the correct forum to be posting this, but I can't find any more relevant. Anyway, I tried to install the lurker firmware on my DX200 yesterday, it all seemed to go well, but it wouldn't boot after the install. It stayed stuck on the DX200 reference DAP screen. I...

    IMO the meze's scale well, the balanced cable makes a noticable difference as well. The IBasso DX200 is a fantastic DAP, with the AMP 9 module and the Mezes it produces a lovely analogue like sound.

    I have the H62ndG the 99 classics and the P7 wireless, they're all great headphones, but my favourite is definitely the 99 classics, they sound amazing and are so comfortable. I use them with the cheaper Meze balanced cable mostly on my iBasso DX200 with Amp9 it's an amazing combo, especially...

    I own both the 99 classics and the B&W P7 wireless. For me it’s a no brainer, the meze’s are by far the more enjoyable listen. The P7 are a great sounding set of headphones but are very clampy, very bassy. The meze’s are wonderfully musical, imho great bass and sub bass, mids are wonderful as is...

    I think it depends hugely on your source. I’m using an ibasso DX200, the H6 sound smooth and musical, but to me the bass is lacking. I’ve fitted the 2.5 Meze balanced cable to my classics and bought an AMP8 for the DX200. The bass and sub bass on the Meze is sublime, deep, tight , airy. I’m...

    I've been a huge fan of the H6 since buying mine some months back, lovely musical headphones, comfortable and an easy listen. I've just bought the Meze 99 classics and to be honest they blew me away.Much more and better defined bass than the H6's. They do need 100 hours plus burn in , but after...

    I ordered my balanced cable on the 15th August, checked the status today and they're in Germany, 9 days on and they're not even halfway to me ! I'm impressed with Meze headphones, not so impressed with the speed of their delivery. 17 euro delivery for a 99 euro item as well is excessive. At that...

    I got my 99 classics on Friday. Initial thoughts , meh what’s all the fuss about. I persevered for an hour or so, couldn’t enjoy them, they sounded veiled, boomy not an easy listen. I decided to burn them in, this evening I plugged them into my ibasso DX200 and wow ! They sound amazing, I used...
