Does any know how or have a link/video about removing the bottom feet

I have a D400ES and want to try an AKM DAC .. should I purchase the older D400EX of the newer D400 Pro? Or a different dac? I already have a great streamer with AES and IIS output .. currently using both the D400ES and Ares 12th-1 … I would like to try a different DAC with a bit move bass

So has anyone had an opportunity to compare the older D400EX with the newer D400 Pro? Is the price difference in ratio with sound difference? I’ve been wanting to get a newer AKM DAC … my last was an AK4490 pre-fire

Got the delivery yesterday… I had no extra customs fees … Listening to the Magna Mano Ultra mkiii now … very nice match with Ares 12th-1 Too bad I purchased a Silver Ares to match my integrated Amp … the Mano only came in black

What is the default filter setting for a new ares 12th?

Any have experience using an iFi spdif iPurifier2? Would it improve the SQ coming out of the coaxial from X5S ?

I just installed the firmware update … The DAC is now playing its 5th random song. I think I hear a tad bit more bass? I would need to do some quick a/b testing to actually know for sure, since that isn’t possible, firmware version 1.8 has my blessing.

Does anyone know of a R2R DAC having very good or only RCA/single-ended output? My balanced setup has the Ares 12th. In the other single-ended setup I’m using a bifrost 2/64 … seems to not pair well … so I want to try something else .. even a delta sigma dac having good RCA output … soekris dac1421
