How would you compare the Mini2 to Ety HF3 or Klipsch X10? Pure BA. I don't do hybrids much. Since I use my IEMs mainly on the commute, isolation is one of the most important aspects for me, which more or less rules out anything with a vent.

Haven't been here for a while, so I'm just curious - have the Chinese managed to start making decent BA IEM's yet? Looking for something similar to Klipsch or Ety, lots of details and great isolation.. :)

Nah, only found one seller who had them, and it was some unknown store. Didn't think anyone would fake such an unknown IEM, but now, looking at it, the cable is slightly different, including the connectors..   I was going to contact the seller, but it seems the store has seized to be. Good...

Received a new pair of Tingo FL800 today, based on me really liking my last pair (that I broke). Man, either these are faulty, or I've really changed my preferences and gotten better reference points, but they are sounding really muddy and hollow.. :(

As I've understood it, we're talking about two separate problems. The HA-2 had the interference problems even before 10.3, and after 10.3 something seems to have happened that has started to cause problems with other DACs as well. Which ought to mean that for iPhone users with 10.3 and the HA-2...

Yeah, and they also talk about it being a problem caused by increased signal noise, and that it's hardware related.    As you mention, the difference between a 2" and a 6" cable is more or less zero, and if the issue was related to this, they wouldn't recommend a longer cable :)

Something like that. One of the main selling points for me was the MFI certification, it made me feel more secure in knowing that this would be a unit that I would be able to use for a long time to come. Silly me, I guess.. :(

Yeah, it's great apart from all these issues. I bought mine to have a DAC/amp that would be future proof, even with the newer generations of iPhones without headphone jack. Seems like that didn't work out, I feel pretty cheated.    It's going to be interesting to see how Oppo treats the people...

This issue, according to the OP, happens even with airplane mode on, so this is probably not related.   But. There is a problem that occurred before 10.3, that made the HA-2 (and SE) reboot when you got to a low cell phone coverage area. I don't want to double post, but if anyone is...
