They do come with a case (it's not inside the main packaging as we couldn't fit it in). Seems like someone missed it out. So yes they come with cases.

Filters on air are the same small bore and thread size is the sabre and are not interchangeable with any new gear.

They won't bash you head in as they are not a bass head unit. But they will deliver with speed and precision and with an ideal seal you will get more than enough bass.

After the recent update i posted Jake has been feilding many questions just like yours and has been a little swamped. I know he didn't manage to answer every email today so give him until tomorrow.

No not at all as the Icarus you can tune to a lot more due to the driver setup and in my opinion suits all genres. The few outsiders that have heard it are blown away by how versatile this is.

We did think about bringing master 6 and hunter but made no sense as no one can buy it now, so just the Icarus III, master and vyrus v2 on the stand.

Bass is rich and fluid but never muddies any area. Bass on master is fast and precise and more multi BA esq. Bass on Icarus III is more immersive.

The Airs don't have the wide bore filters :)

The question i was answering was comparing master Vs Icarus III. Master 6 and hunter are far more analytical than master. Icarus IV is still in development so won't comment until done.

Comply would recommend 500 series for that bore size filter. 400 will fit though.

In this size these things make little to no difference. But lots of testing is all that is needed and the fr is no different between materials

Best way i can describe is that the master is technical yet clinical. It does everything right in a cold precise way. Many love that. However the Icarus III is quite different. Sound stage is much bigger and staging/placement is excellent and the sound is more emotional. Filters are the same but...

Filters are same as before but manufacturing process changed and pitch of thread altered slightly so we don't have filter issues.
