Sony XBA-N3AP and XBA-N1AP — Impressions thread
I added Xba- n3 recently to my collection. This is more easy to drive than MDR-1AM2. Bass is better than 1AM2 and MSR7B. Clarity and detail almost same. Happy with the purchase.- Ritu

The Sony 40th Anniversary Walkman Thread
Bought ath msr7b recently to compliment mdr-1am2. Msr7b performance is excellent with a105. Msr7b needs little bit more volume, for example on 1am2 if volume is 80/120 for msr7b needs 84/120 to give the same volume level.- Ritu

The Sony 40th Anniversary Walkman Thread
I got the blue one (Asian version). Using it from the past 8 days with MDR -1AM2. Completed about 50 hours of usage/ burn-in. Looks like this pair is truly made for each other. Fantastic combination. When compared to NW-A25, the new Walkman A105 sounds different and considerably better. Much...- Ritu

I rip my CD's using media player ( Windows 10). When ripped to FLAC it has a variable bit rate varying from 700kbpas to 1000kbps (VBR), but with WAV ( lossless) bit rate is fixed at 1411kbps. I do not have experience with any other ripping software, maybe different software gives different...- Ritu

Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread
I think a lot depends on the player, EQ or other settings like DSEE HX. My current settings are sony NW A25 ( DSEE HX - ON) and MDR 1AM2 In my humble opinion, FLAC (ripped on the windows media player ) and 320 kbps have little difference, but the same song ripped on WAV lossless sounds much...- Ritu

Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread
Really enjoying this headphone from past 6 months. This eq setting gives me a satisfactory sound. Good clarity across the spectrum with enhanced bass is what I desire and I get exactly that from this setting. Vocal clarity is also superb. On some tracks, the bass is as good from a subwoofer...- Ritu

It took two weeks to get nearly 110 hours of burn in, but I must tell it was worth waiting. Performance is simply superb, Presently using it with A25 Walkman. 1) Produces a dynamic powerful sound with thumping bass. Clarity and instrument details are top notch. 2) Easy to drive...- Ritu

I think they also watch their TV's with flat settings i:e color - 0, brightness - 0, contrast -0, sharpness - 0 etc:smile::smile:. I can't even think of a player which does not have EQ settings.- Ritu
