hi.the e12a is a perfect solution for sensitive and hungry iems,but from headphone out of mobile phones,it performs suboptimal. I recommend to buy a dedicated dap like x3 ii or x1 ii or something like that. Or change your mobile phone and buy something like lg v10 or v20 that performe in quality...

Hi.i think that s5 dosn't have line out and headphone out is not good for external amp. I use e12a with x3 ii and from line out tje sound improves. But when using amp with headphone amp of my mobile ,the sound is poor in quality.

I had tried ava400 with lg v10 and fiio x3+e12a The headphone is very comfortable and well made.sound is clean and warm but not boomy. I enjoyed it and it can defeat even more expensive cans. Highly recommended.

i use fiio e12a with x3 ii. this amp is brilliant and a huge upgrade to origimal amp of x3ii. everything goes better and the sound is like tube amp. very pleasing.

hi,in your player setting,you must select focusrite as output. i recommend that you select asio and use foobar 2000 player.
