Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital Impression Thread

I am looking at using the Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital with a TV connected via coaxial and a chromecast audio connected via optical. Finding a quality remote controllable pre-amp that costs under £200 is difficult outside of importing from china, including a high quality dac and a beautiful...

Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD

Volume adjusted through the shanling itself. Has 100 steps, powers the DT 1770s loudly at around 75. No idea about battery drain as I only tested it for about 30 mins and don't own a shanling M1 myself so can't follow up with any battery results.

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

Glad I could help, it works very well! I'm actually going to refine it further with a small right angled aux extender so that my iem cable isn't so squished. This shouldnt be a problem with right angled jacks.

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

Just thought I would share my method of "Stacking" my Dragonfly Red with my iPhone SE. This method should work for all portable devices.     I purchased a small adhesive wallet from here (There are many makes, I just used this one as it advertised its spandex material and was fairly cheap)...

Official Ipod Video / Classic 5g+5.5g+6g+6.5g+7g SSD Mod thread

Not sure if I can post this but I have 3 spare Tarkan mSATA adapters with thermal pads. They have never been used and were bought for iPods that I later decided to use SD cards for. I am happy to let them go for £27 each including postage in the UK and £25 + postage worldwide. I'm sure I could...

Official Ipod Video / Classic 5g+5.5g+6g+6.5g+7g SSD Mod thread

I've recently got into trying to use RockBox with my iFlash Solo w/ SanDisk Ultra 128 GB SDXC Class 10 Card in an iPod Video 5.5G 80GB (64mb RAM).   Whilst installation of RockBox goes smoothly, play back of files results in skipping halfway through songs and crashing. This is using FLAC and...

You are wrong! :) It does close. The lighting is bad, the highest point is the white part. When placed in the iPod, the SD card area is actually angled downwards into the area where the screen sits making the profile even thinner. I've attached some clearer photos to demonstrate this, bear in...
