HiBy RS2: dual card slots, Darwin R2R, FIR, NOS, MQA 8x--news and impressions thread
Looking for some impressions from anybody with a large library. Mine is currently around 35k tracks. Issue I currently have with my original m11 is that it crashes constantly while scrolling through my library. I know the rs2 originally dropped with a limit of 20k tracks for indexing. Since that...- exitfire401

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk
If you check their subreddit, there are a ton of similar stories. Sonova seems to have really dropped the ball on support. A handful of good stories absolutely drowned out by the bad.- exitfire401

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk
Honestly, I'd consider taking them to small claims. Only costs $50 in the state of MI for the value of the IEM, and they're unlikely to show up.- exitfire401

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I definitely don't get the punch that I do from my IEMs, but it's definitely a sufficient amount of bass guitar in balance with everything else imo.- exitfire401

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Got my galaxy buds pro mid-day yesterday. Sound is fine. I expected nothing, but they actually surprised me. I've moved to the dynamic eq as I found the default eq to drown the mids. Dynamic seems to be the most balanced. Voice activated ambient is an absolute lifesaver in the office though. I...- exitfire401

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC
They're cheap because they're fake. The only 1TB that's truly on the market is the sandisk. Treat everything else as a silkscreened 32mb. Hell, I even went through 3 fake sandisk 1TB from amazon before I said to hell with it and stuck with my 2 512GB- exitfire401

If you have the double tap to screen on function enabled, that's the most likely culprit. Once I disabled mine, battery was as good as advertised.- exitfire401

Question for you. I've been playing around with my wife's XM4s and haven't been able to get them to connect with LDAC. Connecting on her phone just fine via LDAC, just not the M11.- exitfire401

Fiio M11Pro -- missing SD card pin (how do I access?)
small paper clip or just go to any location that sells cell phones and ask for a spare. They usually have thousands on hand.- exitfire401

Drop + JVC HA-FDX1 Dual Carbon IEM...available in the US!
As somebody who also came from the Kanas pro, this was exactly the upgrade I was looking for. Better highs, mids are on par if not slightly better, and bass is more well rounded (Less boomy, more precise)- exitfire401

You can change that by setting it to LO instead of PO in the pulldown menu. Fixes the output volume. Just don't forget to switch it back before putting in headphones- exitfire401

Well, I could see how you're having poor LDAC connection...since it's not supported on them, but really unfortunate to hear you're having an issue with the MMCX connector.- exitfire401

Penon Audio. Question.
Just going to leave another praise comment for Penon. Bought my M11 from them and they've been my go-to since. They even sent me a Christmas card last year, which is more than any other company I normally shop with gave me and that little personal touch has seriously gained them a customer...- exitfire401

While I'm at the office, I typically listen over bluetooth. UTWS1 and M11. I'm usually using it for 7 hours a day. I typically keep my volume on player at 20-25 and leave it on shuffle and only really turn the screen on when I want to look for a particular song. In this configuration, I usually...- exitfire401

It's definitely not on par with their sound wired, but I use them at the office a lot and need the convenience. The JVC and UTWS1 are still better than any of the tws options I've heard elsewhere.- exitfire401

Fiio M6 Vs M3 Pro? Or other?
It really just comes down to whether you want bluetooth between those two. The m6 has bluetooth while the m3 will not- exitfire401

Same. The only firmware I had any issue with was 1.0.7 and that was just fiio music crashing at random times, but that ended up being an app issue, not a fw issue.- exitfire401
