Got my headphones, and just put them on. Started playing the video you posted Jellofund.    AMAZING.   These sound awesome! $150 well spent. Very good first impression. Lets see how it does with my music.

Need help getting a pair of portable on ear headphones for under $100 for work, but the cheaper the better.

Ah, I thought I mentioned this but I guess not. Closed for sure.   For music, I posted classic rock and 70-80s rock currently, and then for other genres, lots of alternative rock, dubstep at times. Sometimes I'll listen to some folk metal. Euro house and EDM. Honestly, it can be all over the...

True that, it is why I bought the ad700s to begin with.   I guess instead of saying real, I should have just said this is my first pair of headphones over $100.

    Yamaha hph mt220 thread (Merged)

So back to the JVC S500, is it still a solid budget buy for today?     Honestly, thinking about it I don't want to spend too much money on headphones I'd primarily be using just at work.

Need help getting a pair of portable on ear headphones for under $100 for work, but the cheaper the better.

So I need some headphones for when I'm at work. I listen to a lot of podcasts and music while working, and also use the headphones for online meetings and such. I listen to a lot of music, but lately I've been listening to a lot of classic rock and 70s-80s punk.   I've been using a pair of...
