Have you tried the ie400s or you're generally not too fond of 425s?

Sennheiser IE 400 Pro or Shure SE425?

I looked it up. He indeed recomended 215s for their value and 535s for their all around awesomeness, but 425s came out to be pretty good too, just not outstanding.

Sennheiser IE 400 Pro or Shure SE425?

Good option on paper but unfortunately these are a bit too pricey for me right now. They go for 300 here, and with the shipment costs ebay won't help either.

Recommendation for a portable smartphone DAC ~100-300e

No I haven't but on a related note, generally higher bitrate tracks do sound especially better with Dragonfly.

Recommendation for a portable smartphone DAC ~100-300e

I have the dragonfly black and It's great. Really portable but the USB to micro USB cable I got is kind of chunky, but you probably can avoid that problem.

Sennheiser IE 400 Pro or Shure SE425?

My lifestyle in gereral is much more friendly to IEMs. I usually my speaker setup and desktop when listening at home, but I do a lot of travelling, and I need the convenience and portability of IEMs. I looked some into chi-fi, and given the course it seems to take I reckon these might be my last...

Sennheiser IE 400 Pro or Shure SE425?

Currently I go by with some old shure se215 and the time has come for a much needed update. I like the se215's character very much. They are very crisp and quite clear with a bass that can be uneven at times but overall doesn't overpower. My music not being as bass heavy as most genres, I strive...

Ok, I deceided to go for Dali Zensor 1, although their recommended amp power is 25-100W, and Dayton DTA-1 will give only 15W per channel. Is that a big deal or can I order Dayton right away?

Cel, I never heard you comment on those Q Acoustics 2020i all reviewers seem to love. I am also sceptical about stands. In my quest of understanding proffessional audiophile stuff, I noticed lots of people suggest that in order for a specific set of speakers to shine, It needs proper stands...

Well having little knowledge of how things work, It's just natural that I am a bit conservative here. Including the reliability of a second hand speaker.

Well the thing is I am kinda worried about adding more stuff between my computer and my ears, including the second-class cables that I will be buying.  Intresting thought tho. I'm gonna look into It.

I've been stalking the forums for quite some time now, but I think now is time for me to post something. Warning: I am a guy who persuits the perfect sound but also total noobie to the audiophile community, and a very limited spender.    I want to turn my PC to a budget friendly sound...
