Are there pops in your Opeth: Blackwater Park CD?
Does anybody have the original copy of this cd? Are there pops like on every song? I don't know if mine was burned defectively or what... but it's annoying! -

JBL Reference 220 appreciation
Well I use them, and I think they are wonderful. What I like most about them is the isolation they provide. While I would usually turn my Koss KSC75's up to hear while I'm in distractive places, I could keep the volume on my Ipod around halfway and not be distracted at all. They certainly...- urklab

replacing e2c's with vibes or jbl220
The jbl's do have pretty nice bass impact imo, as long as you get a good seal.- urklab

Removing plastic grill from PX100?
Shucks.... since I'm rather stubborn and love breaking things, I took em apart anyways! So far so good. It is just held down by four dollops of glue. I suppose heating it slightly would make disassembly rather easy, but I just used a knife and cut away at the glue from the exterior, then...- urklab

Does anyone NOT like the px100s??
If you really think they sound muddy, you HAVE to try thicker pads. I bought a Koss UR5 at walmart for five bucks, and it came with two pairs of pads, both which are pretty thick. After you swap pads, the bass really calms down and the midrange is rather clear. Honestly, the pads make all the...- urklab

Removing plastic grill from PX100?
Yes, I've the the 414 pads on it as we speak, and while everything sounds much better, the HF seems to be hindered by something. It's the newer version (white)- urklab

Removing plastic grill from PX100?
Since I'm rather disappointed with the high frequency response of the PX100's, I am going to enlarge the hole in the middle, hopefully to achieve a better sound! While I doubt it would really work, it's worth a shot. So I'm wondering if anybody has removed the grill before I go ahead and...- urklab

Does anyone NOT like the px100s??
The only problem for me is their HF response. Some thicker pads really clear up the bass and bring out the midrange. I currently have the HD414 pads on them everything on them improved, but the HF still sounds fake.- urklab

PX100W initial impressions
Does anybody else thinks the highs are rather disappointing? To me it seems as if all the highs just get jumbled together. Cymbals sound more like a metal plate being hit, not a cymbal being hit. idk, I just think the highs are rather unrealistic, especially compared to the KSC75's- urklab

You could always pop off the grill in order to check if there is any damage to the diaphragm, instead of sucking away if there's nothing wrong.- urklab
