Can anyone tell me if the ZH1ES works in balanced mode when one uses the line in jacks?

I listened a little too loud for a little too long to music with headphones, which is why I now have a tiny tinnitus in my right ear (nothing dramatic, though). That is why I simply switch from headphones to speakers. I really enjoyed this amplifier with my Fostex TH900.

If anyone is interested, I am currently selling my beloved TA-ZH1ES headphone amplifier over in the Amplification for Sale/Trade forum. Might be especially interesting for potential buyers in Europe. Hope it is ok that I post this here.

It is the Noir Hybrid cable (Silver+copper) produced by Audio ForzaWorks in Poland. They are using the connectors which are used by the Sennheiser HD600, they just switched the polarity.

As per your request, here is the "report": I have only praise for this cable. I don't own any other balances cables, so I can't comment on the sound. Although these cans sound just right with this hybrid cable. But the build quality is simply top notch!

It all depends on how you intend to use your ZX2 and what gear you own. If balanced output and native DSD support are must-haves for you, then I would totally splash out another $300 on a WM1A. Also, if you live in Europe you can easily remove the volume cap of a WM1A. This might be of interest...

The tape is there because the earpad easily falls off of the plastic cover. I followed Whitigir's instructions to remove the areas of the leather that used to cover these little air vents. Anyway, this is not important.   Could you please tell me if it says "4HD2" under one of your speakers...
