Westone 4r Vs Shure SE846 whats the best?
Which ones in particular? I am just wondering to get a better idea. And the shires are pretty great with their soundstage and imaging. But they make it like you are in a studio, not an orchestra hall. The SE846 bring vocals forward and you hear everything else going on around you in what feels...- soundseeker21

Westone 4r Vs Shure SE846 whats the best?
The Shure SE846 are the best IEMs for $1000 in my opinion. They have a fun sound signature that is still very resolving and fast. The soundstage is very good for an IEM. However, if you are coming from open back headphones with a large soundstage, such as the Sennheiser HD800, then the shures...- soundseeker21

HD700 or HD800
You have a picture of the Shure SE846 as your profile pic so I am going to assume you have them. I owned both the HD700 and HD800 at one point. Playing both from an Objective 2 amp Plus ODAC. The HD700 do not look as good and are not made with as nice of materials. They have a slightly smaller...- soundseeker21

What's the best amp for HD800
The Objective 2 from JDS labs sounds very good with the Sennheiser HD800. There is little to no sibilance and you will hear the bass where it is meant to be heard. Volume also gets loud, to where I play using half volume. It is around $250-300.- soundseeker21
