Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Just pulled my Asgard 2 out of unreasonably bad storage after a year and a half...damn thing works like new after being frozen and cooked over the time. Just no stop in it...lovely sound returns to the headphones! Yep...I get the quality aspect of Schiit products, thanks Jason and crew!

Senn Momentums, lateral upgrade or ?

Ok I currently own a pair of Sony MDR1R cans, but auditioned my Asgard 2 in a store (yeah....go figure) wih the Momentum over ear cans and found them to sound quite nice. Would it be an upgrade of sorts to grab a pair of Momentum's to go along side my MDR1Rs or is the difference not worth the...

Ok I might have the opportunity to get my hands on a Bifrost Uber with the USB Gen2 upgrade in it and just cant find the right spot on this forum to post this question so I hope this place will work, will it be a noticeable upgrade over going analog from my Mac Mini to my Asgard 2? Also plan on...

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Yaknow what Jason, I'm sure I speak for the majority by saying, keep posting stories, it's eye opening to see the inner workings of an audio company! Not often one gets this inside look to see what makes a company tick and I'll be honest, the Schiit Story is very interesting. I know I've learned...

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Add to that increased insurance riders on those dealing with Lithium Ion batteries, increased shipping charges due to the Dangerous Goods aspect a Lith Ion battery would command. And we'd probably be looking at a Fulla costing more accurately double the current $79 US asking price.

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Ah someone else who thinks he way I do, I picked up a Late 2012 Mac Mini mere days after the unupgradeable memory 2014's came out, got it for a hundred bucks less than the new one's starter price, stuffed 16Gb of RAM in it and she screams. It's not in every case where the newer piece is "better"...

No faceless corporation goes as far as you guys do to get in real touch with it's customer base, been noticing it for a bit now. My girlfriend wonders why I own an A2 and drool for the day I pick up the Bifrost Uber, great product, solid community* involvement, sure your not gonna win the ears...

Yaknow, some of the FAQ pages over thar at schiit.com are hilarious, and I think the one for Fulla sets a new standard for laugh factor! Why aren't other companies allowed to have fun like these guys?

I thought headphone amps were bunk n all considering I have two easy to drive pairs of cans, Sony MDR-1R and Senn HD477, now either can be sent easily to earbleed levels by an iPhone but both came alive with the insertion of my Asgard 2 into the chain. Either will still go to earbleed levels...

That's if Jason posts the remaining chapters in the next month, I'd like it if he did, the story has been great. Feels great knowing the gear I'm able to buy was made by people who care and respect their customers enough to have some seriously non PC fun, it's refreshing.

I actually like it, cleans up the categories, Sys and Wyrd get a bit more respect in the line up. Plus it looks a little cleaner as well.

Yeah, I find it works best to cover up an annoying LED, and when you remove it, in most cases it leaves no residue, and if it does, it's really easy to clean off.

Finally, a photo of my Schiit at rest and no, I don't store the MDR1Rs on the amp when it's on! But she sure looks nice all the same. It's temporary home is on top of my Yaqin tube integrated amp until I find a permanent home to place the Asgard 2.

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Geez Louise...if the LED on the front panel was that bright...I'd break out the electrical tape to cover it like I do with a couple of PC towers with INSANELY bright blue LEDs for power and hard drive access lights.
