For the member who have tested ak70 and nw-a35, how these two compared sq wise? I know ak70 have higher price point, but can someone help me with some answer? Thanks.

finally, got my aftermarket cable. it fits the socket very well, less microphonic than the stock cable.

had never got a good seal and comfort with stock tips. spacer+ortofon tips  are my choice now :)

I pull the trigger for this cable. the builder has an option for angled tf10 connector, which is similiar with original FLC8s connector. hope it will work with my beloved 8s

Agree on that. Without LF filter I hear more bass but also more open sound. It gives wider soundstage, and it just sounds great.

Have to disagree on this. Though I enjoy FLC8S so much, but I think phonak's and grado's gr10 mid are better than flc8. Imho.

So, if the dust blocking ULF filter can we just poke it with needle or something? Also, what is the really difference between clear tips anf grey one?

How about the ULF filter which has hole off center. Is it causing imbalance too??

at first I also experiencing some channel imbalance. after 1 month the sounds is getting more balance, but in some occasion I heard slightly imbalance. is it defective unit? any idea what should I do with it? also, I notice not all ULF filter have centered hole. something like, right side...

Unfortunalety I never had a chance to try the dx90, So I cant comment on that. As far as I observe, plenue D did have good 3d soundstage. Especially when it paired with phonak 232. Imho.

Flc8s sounds outstanding with PD. It has nice soundstage, bold vocal and has nice detail too. Recently I use FLC8s with my z3c, I think PD is cleary an upgrade from my smartphone.

I I suggets you to try ortofon tips.

Wow friend. Same taste of music here I guess :D Could you share the setting on your PD?? Quite sometimes playing with PD's eq but in the end back to "normal" setting.

This PD sounds good both with pfe 232 and flc8s. Somehow I prefer PD sounds with all effect off :/

@Whaleshark12 since your profile says you have flc8s, I want to ask how FLC8S sounds with plenue D?? is it good combo?
