Seiun player, $150 player with monster spec. Too good to be true?
I don't remember the confirmation, but I got 2 survey requests .... A brief summary on the audio (i have only listened to it for a few hrs) -- sounds much better than the old ipod and iphone 6 (earphone jack). With the same flac track, the seiun player has flatter freq response and...- eawtan

$350CAD HERUS: Asynchronous USB Audio 2.0, 24bit 352.8Ks/S, DXD and DSD64/128, 2.4VRMS Headphone DAC
On HTC One X, and Xperia V, volume control on the herus works fine for n7 player, deadbeef, jetplayer (FLAC ), have not tried DSD on Android. However with Win7 and foobar2000 , volume control for dsd does not work on herus (no issues with flac though).- eawtan

$350CAD HERUS: Asynchronous USB Audio 2.0, 24bit 352.8Ks/S, DXD and DSD64/128, 2.4VRMS Headphone DAC
Thanks for the response, did u try the herus on ur Inspiron usb 3.0 port? I have a workaround though, herus works when I connect it to usb2.0 hub which in turn is connected to the e7440 usb3.0 port.- eawtan

$350CAD HERUS: Asynchronous USB Audio 2.0, 24bit 352.8Ks/S, DXD and DSD64/128, 2.4VRMS Headphone DAC
Has anyone tried herus on a haswell laptop? My dell e7440 (i7-4600u) does not detect herus on all it's usb ports (laptop only has usb3.0 ports). No issue with other machines with usb2.0 ports. Works with Xperia V (android 4.2) as well. Thanks.- eawtan

Quick Emu 0202 question
Hi, I am using the emu 0202 w/ dell D610 and it is good. The issue with the emu 0202 (and probably 0404) is that the drivers use alot of cpu power, with the pentium M 2.13Ghz, it sometimes reaches 100% cpu util. When I do anything more processor intensive on the machine, it (0202) will...- eawtan
