Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
for those of us feeling semi-disgusted at our habit, there's aliexpress! great prices on some of the tws they have there. I recently lost my jabra 10's on the train and soon after misplaced my huawei freebuds 5. grrrr... i've not lost a tws since before the pandemic and now lost 2 favorite sets...- Sam L

Has anyone tried the aviot pnk model (not the zx1) that's avail on US amazon? Dynamic + planar implementation. ** edit ** nm, after comparing the pictures from amazon with the aviot site, it's clear the model is the te-z1. Still, I'm not finding any impressions or reviews on this model.- Sam L

largely true, but technically BBK dissolved early last year. oppo, vivo and some non-profit-ish company are the remaining pieces of that conglomerate. edit: errrr. i'm remember that wrong, the education electronics company is actually for-profit.- Sam L

Someone here posted that the bose qc ii eartips fit the oneplus buds 3. Those tips also fit the oppo enco w51. I'm wondering what other tws fit these tips? And yes, I'm semi-implying I would by a tws just to use these bose tips. Haha. What an odd bunch we are....- Sam L

so true... very hard to get my FF3's out of my ears. =) While I love the (or used to love? been so long) the RW-9. I think the FF3 are amazing. Probably the only non-txear earbuds I listen to without EQ -- the FF3's come out of the box ready to play. The only nitpicky thing I'd point out is the...- Sam L

Perahia's Mozart cycle is one of my frequent listens while working. I also started listening to his goldberg variations more recently, though I still prefer the nutty genius of gould.- Sam L

bump... might be helpful for people wondering how the Rose Maria II graphs. For some reason, I missed this (even though I've search numerous times for a graph of the maria II.) Just got the 1More comfobuds 2 in. They're on sale on Amazon for $14.99. Old tech, I know... but I got them to see how they handle quiet (office) environment calls. the mic quality is very good -- easily comparable to the other tws I use for this specific use-case. The two standout of the bunch...- Sam L

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Just got the huawei freebuds 5 in -- great option for semi-open earbuds. The mic for calls is class leading, the app allows eq adjustments and the anc cancels out a surprising amount of low end noise. I always thought anc on these types of buds are useless, but I'm re-thinking my position now...- Sam L

I don't have any issues with the fit with the aerofit pro. I was actually pretty surprised by the quantity of the bass... a v-shaped tuning. Another surprise is the mic quality. excellent, easily as good or better than anything on the market. I went ahead and ordered the Tozo openbuds which may...- Sam L

7Hz Impressions & Discussion
Still listening actively, every day, to the sonus and I'm getting increasingly more impressed. I've been out of the IEM game for some time, my last purchases were some sub $100 iems whose model names I forget because I didn't really end up listening to them much (a crinn collab, a hbb collab)...- Sam L
