Massdrop x Noble X Universal IEMs Review / Preview
Received mine. Financial obligations changed recently. Anyone interested in them send me a PM. I've also made a listing under the for sale section. Reputable members only. Unopened. Or maybe someone can tempt me into making the irresponsible decision; how do they compare to my fav RE-600's?- thedude22

Fiio x7 am3 balanced amp with Hifiman RE 600. 3.5 plug, 2,5 port. No industry standard???
So the re600's are an 3.5mm plug. The fiio x7 am3 amp only has an 2.5mm balanced port. Is it worth it to buy one of these $20 2.5 to 3.5 balanced adapters? Or should I just stick with my re 600s (unbalanced). I purposefully bought another re-600(balanced version) to use with my new x7.- thedude22

The LG HBS line is probably the most popular. I have the 750's, the sound is alright, I don't use them for music but I think anyone would be satisfied with them. The bluetooth connection, however, is amazing. It's the most reliable I've ever experienced. You never have to disconnect, reconnect...- thedude22

Definitely true. A couple of months ago I was about to return my Little Dot for being defective. Decided to check the LD forum beforehand, they said try a different outlet. I thought noway, but it was a new house that we had just moved into. So I gave it a try and yes it fixed the hum, ringing...- thedude22

They are, definitely worth 3x as much. Never tried the m1 but have tried the brainwave flagship and the RE400 was much better. Even though they are talked about a lot they're still Hifi's best kept secret.- thedude22

Little Dot I+ Tube Rolling
Definitely possible as I just moved. However my o2's and other ss are fine, notsure if that matters, and the Vali was experienced at my old house whenever you would hit it hard and/or when first turning it on then would dissipate. This one is an constant loud ring but a very low frequency ring...- thedude22

Little Dot I+ Tube Rolling
I just received my LD+ and it's ringing regardless of what tubes or setting I'm used. It's not an extremely high pitched ring like the vali but it's much louder and hasn't gone away. Left it on for a couple of hours. Do I need a replacement or is there a fix or something I'm doing wrong?- thedude22

I don't have as much experience as you guys but I tried that Pangea amp and liked it. Really smooth sound, the only problem was the amp was under powered. Which is probably why they don't list the specs. I should have tried my more efficient headphones with it but I only planned on using it with...- thedude22

The AKG K7XX Massdrop First Edition Thread
Thanks, I have about $600+ in amps maybe I'll offload a few or all of them to justify the project ember. I've heard a lot about it now. Does it fit the K7xx's weird power draw though? And is it's sound significantly better than these other $200-$300 tube amps?- thedude22

Is there any sub 300 tube amp for this thing? It sounds like some of the little dots, dark voices etc. are power differently than the K7xx's. Are there any out there that fit the k7xx's 64ohm? BTW. Anyone receive their HP-101 yet? I've been using it with my K7xx the last couple of hours and kind of like it. It's really smooth and vocals are forward. It makes the vali sound harsh. I always hope that the company logs the serial number from the original purchase but that's rarely the case. You can always go and check the companies site and warranty form, if they ask for a receipt then you're probably out of luck.- thedude22

Is it completely gone or just improved. I've read all the reviews and looked at the photos and it seems like I'd still end up returning them like I did the x1. The x1 was unbearable, if the price becomes right though I'd just end up cutting that band off.- thedude22

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
Yeah the HM-700 is smoother but the x3 has more punch especially on high gain. Has anyone used the re400's at the gym or for running? I sweat a lot, like shirt drenched but my Klipsch S4i sports have held up no problem. Is like the "sports" just a gimmick or will using the re400's instead...- thedude22
