    Recently getting a low level of hiss I don't recall before. Any ideas what would cause this? Something degrading internally/ power issue?

    Should have added... nothing worse than having a file that cannot be played -- sounds better or not, you'll never know! I have a few files in this category myself acquired not knowing the limitations of my system. Stinks!

    I've had these cans for several years now and they are absolutely stunning, although I've been thinking about 'upgrading' to XCs to play without disturbing the Mrs. I have an earlier version with the foam headband, does anyone know how to distinguish v. 2.0 from 2.1? Definitely pre-2.2 based on...
