According to WooAudio's Facebook account, it does have a DAC.

From WooAudio Facebook: "its the white 3D printed travel size tube amplifier." So yes, their prototype is 3d printed. It's Amp/DAC. Similar design as Analog Squared Paper amps... hopefully more affordable and easier to find.

Very interesting. Thank you for the info. I've had the Valhalla pop before, but it was actually after I turned off the amp, then removed my headphones about 5 seconds after it was off and it made a pop noise. Which is kind of weird, because it was off, but I guess it powers down really slowly.

That's actually not true. Many amps have a muting relay on powerup, which prevents the issue you described. Having an "open circuit" (powered on with no headphones) on OT tube amps will actually damage the amp. On OTL, it is generally not an issue. From WooAudio: "Just to clarify, the problem...

Why wouldn't you? It's helpful information about a product I own. I've been warming up the tubes with no headphones plugged in.

Is the Pan Am OTL?

Well, that's pretty much it. I'm wondering if the Pan Am is output transformerless. For some reason, I cannot find this information anywhere, including and especially on ALO Audio's website. 

I just received LCD-2s with the same problem described here. I realize this is the LCD-3 thread, but I figured you'd be interested in knowing that it's not just an LCD-3 problem. I've already contacted Audeze about it.
