Where were you able to find hd660/330 so cheap? The cheapest I've found is about $40.

What sort of eq did you use?

For me, angled hm5 pads are the answer. When I eventually replace them, I'm gonna try some of the pads from ZMF.

I plan to get new pads eventually to so that my ears don't touch the drivers anymore. Has anyone tried the angled Hm5 velours yet?

nah, mine stayed oval. I got the same deal with the seam. I think That's just the way they are.

Yeah, I've been working on stretching the headband by putting a book between the extenders(so the pads don't get squished). But as is they're fine for an hour 1/2~ before its annoying. Take a little break and they're fine again.

For now, superglue and electrical tape are your friends. heatshrink perhaps?

hmm, not bad. Have you messed around with damping and the like? I bet a bunch of the things people do to the fostex t50rp enclosure could possibly make em even better. Oh, and I also put a set of angled hm5 pleathers on my set now. sooooooo much better than stock.

Well the reason I would use the superlux is that as far as I remember the 150's, beyers, and superluxes, all have the same size cups so I would be able to put the 150's cups directly in the hd660 headband assembly with a little modification.

What are you using the angled pleathers on and would you recommend them? I'm planning to get a pair for my Soundmagic hp150's.

That's pretty sweet. If mine ever break I'm thinking I'll buy a pair of superlux hd660 or 330 and put the sound magic cups in its headband. The superlux is basically a beyer clone(The shape at least)
