Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Definitely not normal, if 20hrs are to be expected from the case, then nothing less than 18hrs should be acceptable in the daily use. I am still waiting for the reply from @Tronsmart Official

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Looks like I got a dud of a case in Tronsmart Apollo. Even after the "foam" hack inside the case, my fully charged case is blinking red lights after a couple of days, and 5-6hrs of usage. I've sent an email to @Tronsmart Official about this, let's wait for the response. But I wanted to know, is...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Maybe about 10 times, but as I said, when the case is shaken with the earbuds in, the lights starts blinking on the case, indicating that the earbuds inside are moving and disconnecting and reconnecting. Maybe the magnet isn't strong enough, so if I put it in the bag, it'll just disconnect and...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

This seems like a useful hack. I am currently facing really bad battery life from the case. I don't know if it's due to this missing padding, but whenever I shake the case with earbuds in, the white light glows up indicating they moved inside the case. I am using my earphones for 3-4hrs daily...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Got my pair today, and took them to the beach for a quick test. No hissing or static noise at all. Quick impressions: The sound is bassy, I am not a basshead so it was pretty boomy, but either it's my ears or the driver settling in, it toned down a bit by the end of the day. ANC is pretty good...

Well, there was a promotion going on Apollo Bolds, and they ticked all my checkboxes of good battery life, ANC, Ambient mode, aptX/AAC, so I couldn't resist, :L3000: The only thing remains to be seen is the sound and call quality.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

The only thing bothering me with N10Pro is their battery life. 3.5hr with aptX and ANC, and 5hrs with just aptX seems a little on the lower side, and will degrade pretty fast from there. When even N6Pro manages 8hrs on aptX.

Anybody having any news on WF-1000XM4? Would've bought the XM3s already if only the case was a little bit smaller.

Thanks a lot @PaganDL and others, finally got them delivered. Now need cables to set them up.

The room is bigger than 3m x 3m, but the distance between the speakers and my bed isn't more than 2m, where I'd mostly be listening  BTW, do you have any experience with JBL 306P? Saw this video, and JBL sounds a tad bit fuller than LP-6 here (youtube compression, though both sound very...

Yeah, AVF seems to be a barren land. I'd see if I can push for LP-8 (black friday?), but my room isn't that big, so LP-6 should suffice I think.

Got it, have posted in AVForums, still waiting for any replies. :expressionless: These look good, I'd see if I can stretch the budget to get a pair of these.

    Speakers needed, €300 max.

I have a budget of about €300 for some speakers for my computer. Focus is on clarity for music/movies/games with enough bass to give a good feel to movies and games, but not overpowering enough to cloud the dialogues. Also for music, preference is old rock, so a lot of high end cymbals and...

iBasso IT01 a fun IEM. Single multilayered graphene driver. !! 99 USD !!

The wide bore tips that came with the earphones itch my ears from the bottom side, the end of the tip rubs against my ear. I'd see if I can get a small O ring to fit in there.

Does anybody else have this problem with spiral dots? They just get completely pushed back sometimes when put inside the ear.

iBasso IT01 a fun IEM. Single multilayered graphene driver. !! 99 USD !!

Yes, it's the new one. My old ones had the non removable screen design, and they never had this problem. Also I feel, the nozzle is a little thicker than the previous version, as these are putting a little more pressure on my ear walls with the same tips. I tried inserting at an angle, but still...

iBasso IT01 a fun IEM. Single multilayered graphene driver. !! 99 USD !!

I just got a new pair, and these ones seems to have some sort of driver flex issue or something. There's usual flex sound while inserting them, but they sound a little muffled, unless I push them in further with my fingers, and then they sound much fuller, but as soon as I let go off the...

I just noticed that the cable on mine has started wearing off from the jack strain relief, and the copper is getting exposed. @Paul - iBasso, any way to order the cables for IT01?

IT01s IEM. A new view to your music.

I used to be a non-believer in burnin until I had to give my MA750s in RMA. New unit came in about 4-5 working days, and they sounded completely different to what I sent for RMA, though they did end up sounding similar to the previous pair after 50-70hrs of burnin, initial sound was definitely...

So, seems like @FiiO has some answers to the firmware problems with X1II and X3III. https://www.facebook.com/FiiOAUDIO/posts/2054473121276877?comment_id=2055634184494104&comment_tracking=%7B%22tn%22%3A%22R%22%7D

    IEM Recommendations $100 or less?

nope, I just tried my friend's E10C last week, and they are pretty lagging in terms of SQ when compared to IT01. For $30, it's a good sound, but nowhere near to either lows/mids/highs/soundstage of IT01, E10C almost sounded dull and muffled in front of them

iBasso IT01 a fun IEM. Single multilayered graphene driver. !! 99 USD !!

I can't vouch for the widest bore for fullness and soundstage, but mine had a sort of openness when I first got them with me in a flight. Maybe some glue/driver or something got relieved due to the pressure difference, I just heard a wider and more fuller sound while listening to a song, and...

    FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

I also have my Clip Zip with me, but the power button has gone kaput. Still it's hard to imagine how they were able to provide such a good DAP at just $30, sound quality was way worse than X1II, but for that throwaway price, they had rockbox and such a small and portable size.

True, why the fudge they don't opensource or rockbox it if they don't have the resources to fix the player? @FiiO I was pretty hopeful when I bought this player thinking that the problems would be ironed out, or atleast smoothened with s/w updates. It's almost an year, and still I can't browse...
