iFi audio ZEN Blue - The Official Thread
As far as I know, the Zen blue is just a receiver, so you can connect it to your amp but you have to find a transmitter.- guglia72

iFi audio ZEN Blue - The Official Thread
Pretty weird since you advertise so: "Analogue – connect via RCA to amps or active speakers or via the 4.4mm output to amps/speakers with a balanced input" (taken from your website). Anyway, I have another question: if I use a digital output (optical or coax) does it bypass the DAC circuit so I...- guglia72

iFi audio ZEN Blue - The Official Thread
I just ordered the pretty Zen Blue and I am thinking of connecting it to the balanced input of my headphone amplifier (2 female XLR connectors), since (apparently) sound quality should be better. But unfortunately I'm struggling finding the cable. Do you have any suggestion or link? Thanks a...- guglia72

Unboxing Audeze LCD-X and LCD-XC tonight
I have a Pathos Aurium and will get soon an LCD-X. No ideas yet on which dac to buy, though. I am rather intrigued by the Pathos Converto to pair both the Aurium and my big amp for loudspeakers.- guglia72

Unboxing Audeze LCD-X and LCD-XC tonight
A girl would say "700+ dollars for a headphone? Does it include live performance on demand in your living room?" BTH shoes, even Louboutin, are relatively cheap compared to handbags!!!!!!!- guglia72

USB DAC under 1000$ with 2 outputs
i0ve heard good things about Yulong but my question is: can I use both outputs? My idea is to connect the RCAs to the big amp and the balanced out to the headphones amp. I will not use them at the same time, of course, but doesn't it weaken the signal?- guglia72

USB DAC under 1000$ with 2 outputs
Dear all, I am struggling a bit trying to find a suitable dac to connect my PC to both my integrated amp and my headphone amp. I need to connect the dac to the integrated dac via unbalanced rca cables while the headphone amp can be connected via both balanced or unbalaced cables. Since the...- guglia72

Pathos Aurium anyone?
I just bought an Aurium but I only had the chance for a quick test yesterday night (/early morning!); my first impression is that it sounds superb! I would describe it as extremely detailed and smooth. With my ATH-M50 I had to put the gain to max level, and volume 3/4 to the max, but the sound...- guglia72

Headphone amp + DAC for Sennheiser HD 600/650 or 700
Hello folks, after some long time of studying and reading posts, reviews, spec sheets, and so on, after having gone through all sort of different combinations and options, I made up my mind (in a way) and I am almost sure I will very soon buy a Sennheiser headphone, to be chosen between HD...- guglia72

Very nice to hear that, but I have one question: as far as I know, power from battery should be of a better quality than other power sources like wall socket and more than everything from USB. Better quality power supply = (in theory) better sound quality. How did you manage to have the same...- guglia72

I have almost decided that I will go mobile with an iCAN nano (don't have otg phone - and don't really care about that!). For my home setup, I still don't know. I really hope I will manage to arrange a listening session with Italian dealer.- guglia72

So this confirms my idea that the micro iDSD is focused on portability rather than home hi-fi systems. The built-in usb charging port was the first hint that made me wide open my eyes, but I was still following the project with great interest. But the CCK/OTG port made me realise that the...- guglia72
