I also use foobar2000 and I have specified the "DSD : ASIO : TUSBAudio ASIO Driver as output for the R6Pro. Thus, mp3, flac and DSD iso files were played without problems. However, I only connected the R6Pro for a short time because I prefer to use my chord mojo as a DAC.

In the past i had the problem, that in 'All Music & random' mode the player in rare cases skips to the next track - some second(s) before the current has finished.   This behaviour is from the start in May '14 with both dx90s (one was a replacement unit) with all firmware versions up to 2.3.0...

you can update your firmware by copying the update.img to the root of a FAT32 formatted sd card (via cardreader). After (re)starting the dx90 in recovery mode [Power On][Vol up], the update will be processed by selecting "update firmware from sd card".
