Huge Comparison of [almost] all the Best Bluetooth Headphones - post your own comparisons here
If I may add my 2p worth on this... I was also looking for a 'reasonable' BT set of cans, and this more than fitted my price range, so I also took a punt. The look and feel was good out of the box, and felt worth more than the £65 I paid. However that was where the good feelz stopped! I was...- TheRev76

Review by 'TheRev76' on item 'AKG K451 High-Performance Foldable Mini Headset (Black)'
I bought these through an internet auction site for a very reasonable fee, so that will affect my view on these slightly as I've not paid RRP. I am more than happy with the quality of sound that these put out from my iPhone. The soundstage picks out the individual instruments and puts them...- TheRev76

Thanks J, FYI it costs £20.33 to import the M80's at the new price, but future calculations are done at 2% duty (if above £135) plus 20% VAT. The shipping provider MAY add their own handling charge also.- TheRev76

Rather annoyingly two if the listings I was hoping to bid on were ended early, and the other went for more than I thought sensible. Just to add to the list of potentials, would V-Moda M80's be bassy enough for a rock enthusiast? I've seen varying reviews. Also does anyone know the approx...- TheRev76

There are a couple of listings ending this weekend that I'm interested in, but at least I have a solid few to choose from if I don't get those. All your help has been greatly appreciated, will update the post as more unfolds!- TheRev76

Was referring to the Aurvana, with a couple of reviews suggesting they were a little flimsy. It's v hard to judge in this virtual world- TheRev76

Quality looking cans! Really liking those. The reviews say that build quality could be better, is it worth getting refurb/used higher grade units?- TheRev76

Thanks for the info J, and they really do sound like they'd do the job - and look the mutts! However, even at your sale price they are a bit too steep for me, as I was hoping to get some for around £50, or slightly more if the necessity arose crackin' as they look, it's like fancying...- TheRev76

I would like the detachable cable so that I can replace this later if it were to get damaged, but I guess it's not critical if it's detrimental to the phones? Closed seems to be favourite then *removes K451 from list* so the Onkyo fill the brief - Google searches will fill my evening!- TheRev76

My main issue with the Onkyo, is the supply. UK stockists bump the price, so where the US charges $120, the UK is £150 ($250)!!- TheRev76

Thanks Trunks, Been looking again at the UE 6000, but cannot get them easily in the UK. All of the US shippings add $30 for taxes, let alone the $40 shipping charges, which makes for a much larger bill than necessary! Anyone got some on here that they'd be willing to part with for a...- TheRev76

Thanks again Claritas. Based on the fact that I have 2 young boys and a lively Jack Russell, which I will be using the headphones to walk outside, means that they will certainly not get the care of a potential audiophile like yourself! With that in mind, is the removable cable more advisable...- TheRev76

*Update* Didn't realise that the Beyer's have a fixed cable - is that an issue longer term? Having trawled eBay, I have found some old Grados (SR60 and RS1), but would they still be better than newer current models and suitable to my bass requirements?! On a slight tangent I've also...- TheRev76

The Mikros, apart from the availability issue, just look a bit awkward on the head so I'm thinking I'll steer clear. However, could I now add the Beyerdynamic DTX501P to the mix? Any pro's/con's? The reviews say they are good with the bass, and great VFM. Any help appreciated!- TheRev76

Thanks for the information Claritas, will look for the Mikros thread. Is there any opinion on the AKG K450/451/452 as these are readily available in the UK and have been reviewed well. I cannot find a UK supplier on the Mikros 90's, so would have to buy unseen if I were to take that step. Has anyone bought/tried these? I have a larger than average head (XL cycle helmet 60cm+!) and ALL of the reviews say that it's a tight fit. However these are on Newegg.com for $79.99 so would...- TheRev76

The Onkyo looks nice (I also have a wireless USB speaker system by Onkyo for my laptop) so will certainly check those out. Please forgive my ignorance, but could you also provide manufacturer with model references, as I am entirely clueless as to the models you've mentioned there Trunks!- TheRev76

Thanks for the reply Trunks, I will check those out, however perhaps I should have been more clear on my 'budget'!?! I'd be looking to spend no more than $150 ideally, and I'm in the UK so would need to check local availability.- TheRev76

It must be the eternally asked question, but I will ask it none-the-less! I am looking for some decent on ear phones after a few attempts at In-Ear phones that have done a job but not been suitable. I've tried Sennheisser, Panasonic, Digital Silence, but all buy before I try I have a...- TheRev76
