I've been puzzled by this claim. Why would it be important to have a closed form solution? Isn't the filtering problem to recreate the best or at least a good estimate of the original waveform before encoding/sampling? Spitting back out the original samples is something different than that...

Very helpful: it's not the sine wave, it the high power sine wave that leads to debiasing.  And yes, I don't really care how the amp does on high powered sine inputs.    

Not really a concern (yet), but I wasn't able to follow the reasoning about how overcurrent fault protection was starving the output stage of bias current when you feed Rag a sine wave (but not music).    

My Rag get pretty hot, but on the bottom, not the top.  I can put my hand on the top and keep it there (and I'm pretty heat sensitive).  I'd not touch the bottom for more than a split second.  I have my Rag up off the Yggy, so it doesn't heat the Yggy too much.  

Most recent update, at least on Win 7, make the interface much faster.  Much less waiting.  Actually good.

Yep, that sounds crazy. nothing you should put up with.  I was going to weight in before, but I didn't.  I had a HT Omega Claro+ soundcard a while back, but go rid of it, but not for this reason.  My memory is getting too vague...got replaced by Gungnir.

Yes, what did the update to 1.2.0.697 do?  I don't see WASPI, though there is 'use exclusive mode' and 'force volume'.  Maybe that is WASPI?     Annoyingly, Tidal always resets to 'system default' when I close/reopen it.     Update: the new setting may be an improvement...or I'm fooling...

Yes, the very few times I've turned my Yggy off, I did have some hangs on booting it up again.  Has always resolved after one or two tries...but it does take a few moments to tell if it has made it.  Just tried it, came back on the first try, took a bit over 50 seconds.  So I leave it on.  

The 'per se' is doing the work here, I hazard.  A DAC with a 'completely different' purpose.  Which is?  I assumed it was room correction or some form of digital cross-over, but I'd not count that as completely different purpose.  

I'd go for something with DEQXeque functionality -- did just get a Yggy and I'm not breaking that set-up or paying DEQX prices.  I did look into it a bit.  

What else is there?  ADC?  Not seeing anything obvious here.
