LZ A7 competitors 300-400$
Lost my beloved LZ A7. Thinking of getting a new pair of these or to get an alternative in price range 300-400. I love light IEMs that give a lot of details even if they lack some thickness and bass, so I look for something similar. Not too bright metallic sound though. Actually prefer little...- rattywolf

Can anyone share some gay-themed songs here? Preferrably blues, but any genre is welcomed
I know a few really haunting, anthemic things like Chris Rea - Blue Street, Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer. Do you know something else that impresses you a lot? Blues/prog/rock and, actually, whatever. -
Modern modular music - suggestions?
This is great. However, I am here for personal headfiers' opinion, because of musical awareness of people here. Thank you anyway :relaxed: -
Modern modular music - suggestions?
Hello forum, could you recommend musicians and bands who are into modular synths nowadays? I am a big fan of cEvin Key (of Download), and recently discovered Chris Corner after they made a collab. Anything else worth listening of today's performing people? Here's an example of what I am looking for: -
Asian competitors for GermanMAESTRO GMP 435
Hello forum, I was thinking about buying full-size headphones, but I wear IEMs for years and the market has evolved far away since I explored headphones world last time. As far as I remember, German Maestro was a great choice for monitoring purposes (had a chance to listen a few models myself)...- rattywolf

Shanling M0 case question...
Shanling Official Store on Aliexpress has armbands that also may be a wristband. It's not a fancy leather or anything, just a velcro stripe, so if you're looking for something more special I guess there's no option except for DIY. For a while I was crazy about making a watch out of my M0, so I... -

Intime SORA: Giant killer IEMs from Japan?
Yes, I have A7. The only reason is to get a cheaper option for running or working on a jobsite, that still has piezo in it. Just trying to imagine how big is the difference- rattywolf

Intime SORA: Giant killer IEMs from Japan?
Hello, any LZ A7 owners in this thread able to compare them to Intime products? Can Sora Light compete with them in overall sound quality? Very interested in this model as it's my potential 'field earphones'- rattywolf

Shanling M0 - Smallest Hi-Res Portable Player - New Firmware V3.6
I doublechecked the issue and seems it's my confusion here. Many single albums (one artist - one album) in my lib, so it only happened when I click Open All instead of album name, and albums are sorted properly. My mistake, sorry for misunderstanding :flushed:- rattywolf

Shanling M0 - Smallest Hi-Res Portable Player - New Firmware V3.6
Dear @Shanling Any chances there will be next firmware with alphabetical album sorting problem fixed? There are many music albums recorded as a narrative, or even seamless session, and therefore track order is important. I have tracks numbered in metadata, cue-splitted single-file albums, and...- rattywolf

Asian music (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)
Hello, I hope someone in Asian thread is able to help me. I am looking for Susumu Yokota - 1998 album in lossless, can't find it anywhere from online lossless selling sites to Soulseek torrents (except for exchange only guy, but I've got no rare records from his wishlist to exchange). I am not... -

Is Fiio X5 II suitable for highly sensitive IEMs? Mine are 15 Ohm and 109 db/mw, woudn't such a powerful output as X5 II be an overload for drivers?- rattywolf

The problem is not the tips fall out of my ears, they are not tight on the nozzles of the earphones itself, so I am looking for something thicker in that part where tip connects an earphone- rattywolf

How to figure out the output power of laptop audio?
Where can I find (or how to safely measure) a laptop audio output power? I am curious because it sounds better than all players I have had in a while, and I guess it may be because of its power, sounds like it just drives my earphones right. I can't find any detailed specs on Acer website (I...- rattywolf

Thebit OPUS#1S sound competitors in 2021?
I was reading a lot about this thing, and widen soundstage with slightly faded treble section seems very appealing, might be a good device to compensate bright IEMs I have (LZ A7) without having really dark signature that I am not very into now. But the whole thread dedicated to battery issues...- rattywolf

DAP with wide soundstage under 300$?
I see Shanling Q1 in your signature, is it anyhow comparable to DX160 or is it a significantly lower level DAP? Just curious about this thing because of battery life.- rattywolf

DAP with wide soundstage under 300$?
Hello, could anyone recommend DAPs with a great detailing and wide soundstage to upgrade from Sony A55? Preferably with output power greater than 80@32. Could be more than 300$ as I am considering to buy used, but the less the better. Thanks!- rattywolf
