Im planning to use hs7 as a hifi audio system. I will also be ordering belkin g3a2000. How will i connect this to trs on the hs7? Will I need additional components?

I currently have HD 650 AND Xonar Essence STX, I was wondering if getting Vali would be a good choice. I heard STX is good for DAC, so what I have in mind is: Hd 650 -> Vali -> STX.

Thanks for the reply! Just some more questions for clarification.. If Xonar functions as both DAC/Amp, why would I need Vali? Would getting it and connecting to Xonar enhance the sound quality? Also, if I do it that way, does it mean that I won't need DAC?

Hi guys. So I did get a chance to hear both HD600 and 650. I personally liek the 650 better. Would HD800 be a good choice then? I really have no idea what 800 sounds like. But I am sure curious if it sounds more towards what 600 offers vs. 650.

If 800 sounds similar to 880, I guess then that's not really for me? As far as I learned from this thread, I find that 880 sounds quite opposite to what my preferences are.
