Another vote for the FutureSonics G10. I drive them with my Fiio E18 DAC/Amp and they hit hard and extend VERY low! Absolutely love the sub-bass extension, rumble and texture on them! Very good for deep house and DnB. I also love their signature as they have a smooth treble presentation so can...- Tr1ppy

Wow those UM 3DD look amazing!! And with a 13mm driver would you say they offer basshead levels of bass (especially in the sub-bass region)?- Tr1ppy

What are peoples thoughts on wireless basshead IEMs? I'm looking for a pair for running and gym use so would need to be wireless via bluetooth etc and ideally sweat-proof. Not bothered about completely wireless, independent earbuds, infact I'd rather have the wire attaching the two earbuds...- Tr1ppy

Sorry to hear about your XB90, hope you get them sorted. They're a set I've always wanted to try even though I probably wont like the treble.- Tr1ppy

Hi guys I recently purchased the Futuresonics G10 over a month ago so I've had some time to burn them in and listen extensively. Had to purchase them from US as they're not available from the UK. All I can say is WOW! The sound signature is right up my street; the sub-bass is amazing, it rumbles...- Tr1ppy

They look interesting....sound sig that is non-fatiguing and sub-bass heavy. Although I wonder just how hard and deep the 6.5mm woofer can hit. The housing look quite large/heavy though- Tr1ppy

Thanks for the thoughts on the G10. I would be using them with a Fiio E18, driven by my Sony Z5 smartphone. FYI I'm based in the UK so I'll see if that company can ship or otherwise I'll have a look at UK vendors. Thanks for the heads up on the sale :)- Tr1ppy

I have the G10 on my wishlist too. It fits my preferred sound signature of flat mids and highs with elevated sub-bass. Apparently they work well when amped too, but I'd love for someone on this thread to share their experience with the G10 amped and un-amped to give an idea of how much power...- Tr1ppy

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Thanks mate, I actually prefer wearing cable down at work since they are easier/quicker to take out of your ears when wanting to talk to someone. They'll mostly be used in the office so build quality isn't a huge issue; only the drivers/electronics should withstand being amped from a Fiio E18...- Tr1ppy

The N3 looks very tempting as I'm after a huge subbass but smooth mids and treble signature too. My previous IEM were Carbo Basso which had great subbass, however they suffered from housing rattle when the bass was amplified. And then my right hand side earpiece has started to cutout. I'm...- Tr1ppy

Fender FXA2 versus Future Sonics G10
Thanks, I have a pair of Klipsch X10 so I think the eargels will fit as well, if the standard included tips don't agree with my ears. Luckbad also mentions that the G10 works well with an amp so hopefully my Fiio E18 should be able to drive them well. My previous iems were the Carbo Basso and...- Tr1ppy

Fender FXA2 versus Future Sonics G10
So just an update. I've spoken to Luckbad as he has experience of both iems. He says that they have a very similar signature of elevated sub-bass and smooth elsewhere. The main differences are in the fit and the cables. The G10 are smaller and can be worn cable up or down. The FXA2 can only be...- Tr1ppy

Fender FXA2 versus Future Sonics G10
I'm torn between the FXA2 and the G10 iem's. They seem to have the sound signature i'm after which is elevated sub-bass, controlled mid-bass and balanced but not elevated mids and treble. I'm quite sensitive to treble and I'm not too bothered about huge treble extension so thats why dark...- Tr1ppy

Zero Audio - ZH-DX200 Carbo Tenore | ZH-DX210 Carbo Basso (Carbon & Aluminium IEM) thread
I guess too much power for too long time. I do like me some bass so I'm always after iem/headphones/speakers that have good sub-bass that can be driven hard. I knew it was blown because every time a bass note is played it doesn't sound the same as before and the same as left-hand earpiece. It...- Tr1ppy

Zero Audio - ZH-DX200 Carbo Tenore | ZH-DX210 Carbo Basso (Carbon & Aluminium IEM) thread
So after 1.5 years of solid service my Carbo Basso's have given up on me. The right hand side is cutting out and also sounds like the driver is blown. I do listen to a lot of heavy sub-bass music such as that found in DnB, deep house and hip-hop. Can anyone suggest an upgrade for these? I...- Tr1ppy

Can anyone do a comparison between Fender FXA2 and Futuresonics G10 please? Both of these seem to have the dark, sub-bass heavy, smooth treble sound sig that I'm after. I'm especially after sub-bass quality and quantity and how well they react to amping; are they able to handle lots of power...- Tr1ppy

[REVIEW] Future Sonics Spectrum Series: G10 and impressions thread
Can anyone compare the G10 to the Fender FXA2. The fenders are basixally Aurisonics Kickers re-branded when the company took over. I believe they have retained the smooth, L-shaped sig with possibly smoother treble. This is my perfect sound sig (elevated sub-bass and smooth mids and treble) as...- Tr1ppy

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
I'm interested in the FXA2 as they seem to have the sound sig I want (elevated sub bass and smooth, slightly recessed treble). I'll want to drive them from my Fiio E18 DAC/amp. Does anyone have any experience with how the FXA2s react with an amp? Does the bass get better, deeper, tighter etc...- Tr1ppy
