V-MODA Crossfade LP Headband ripped - any ideas for DIY repair?
Thank you for the suggestion! I may just do that, as the headband is tearing even more now and V-Moda's tech support only wants to sell me a new pair rather than replacement parts- ccard3dev

V-MODA Crossfade LP Headband ripped - any ideas for DIY repair?
Hello! The leather on the headband of my V-MODA Crossfade LP is ripped/torn, and I wondered if there is a good affordable DIY way to repair the rip? I would send them in to V-MODA, but the warranty is expired. Thanks!- ccard3dev

Looking for the best extra-bass IEMs under $75
I ended up returning the XB50s, and I bought the V-MODA Bass Freq Metal from Amazon for the same price. They look awesome and are very comfortable, and they have a nice three-button remote. I was impressed by the sound quality, as my previous V-MODAs were not as impressive. They have perfect...- ccard3dev

Looking for the best extra-bass IEMs under $75
I am using the medium Sony hybrid tips (which provide the best fit for my ears), and the bass is great but the treble is uncomfortably sibilant. Updated list of options: • Sony XB50 with Comply Tips • Sony XB70 • Panasonic RP-HJX5 • Xiaomi Pistons • Philips SHE3590 • Astrotec AM800...- ccard3dev

Looking for the best extra-bass IEMs under $75
I listen to a lot of Hip Hop and EDM, and I am trying to find the best IEMs for those genres. My first IEM was a cheap Maxell headset from Walmart, which had a phenomenal sound quality for the <$10 price. They had the best bass I have heard in a headphone, but unfortunately my dog broke them...- ccard3dev

Has anyone tried the Audio Technica ATH-AX3 or ATH-AX5?
I have also been considering the Polsen HCA-10MB and Noontec HAMMO Can anyone comment on these pairs? I am looking for amazing bass quantity and quality without ruining the mids and highs. I will be using these with a 11" MacBook Air and an iPod touch 5th Generation, un-amped. These...- ccard3dev

Has anyone tried the Audio Technica ATH-AX3 or ATH-AX5?
Hello I have been researching over-the-ear headphones, and the ATH-AX3 and AX5 have caught my interest for design/style, and price. I tried to look them up, but I could only find them on Audio Technica's website (with no reviews). Has anyone tried them, and if so can you share your...- ccard3dev

JVC HA-FX1 "Xtreme Xplosives" vs Urbanears Kransen
I have a pair of Maxell headset earphones that sound REALLY good and have KILLER bass, but they aren't comfortable. I wanted a pair that sounds good and is comfortable, so I did a little research, and found the MEElectronics M9P with flat cable and bought them. I burned/broke them in for 50+...- ccard3dev

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
Can you do a JVC FX1 vs MEE M9 comparison? I bought the M9P (Flat Cable) and will be returning them because they don't sound good with an iPod. Do the JVCs have this problem?- ccard3dev

Review by 'ccard3dev' on item 'Sennheiser HD 419 Headphones'
I am a Bass-Head. I had a pair of Sony on-ear monitors, and they were uncomfortable and didn't sound good, so I decided that it was time to buy new ones. I did some research and decided that I wanted a pair of over/around-ear headphones with thumping bass for under $100. I researched Beats...- ccard3dev

Choosing between two headphones: Sennheiser HD 419s and Panasonic RP-HTF600-S
Okay, I just got my new Sennheiser HD 419s, and I am in LOVE with them! First of all, they look very good. I am loving the all-black design. They are also VERY comfy and light-weight. Second of all, they isolate noise, even at lowest volumes, but they leak sound at higher volumes. ...- ccard3dev

Does anyone own a pair of koss td-65's ?
I have the TD/65s, and they have bass, not very good bass, but it's still there. It doesn't really have anything else. They are heavy and get quite sweaty after some time. I also own Koss earbuds, and they sound HORRIBLE. My cheapo $5 earbuds sound better. I stay away from Koss.- ccard3dev

Choosing between two headphones: Sennheiser HD 419s and Panasonic RP-HTF600-S
I am also deciding between Panasonic RP-HTF600 and Sennheiser HD 419. I would power these with my iPod & iMac's headphone jack, no amp or anything fancy. I am a "Basshead" and want headphones for under $49 that can get thumping bass, while keeping clear mids/highs. Which ones are best?- ccard3dev
