Focal Spirit Classic First Look - Head-Fi TV
Demoed those recently. I have to say I really liked the sound. It has a very clear and pleasing, I would say, sound. But what really drew my attention was the the bass which was really superb. But....that headband had like zero! padding although in the photos it looks so soft. It's like...- D4rkst3EL

HiFiman HE-500 (HE as in High End) Proving to be an enjoyable experience in listening.
@Nimzerz I am pretty sure the HE-500 is an excellent headphone. And I don't think I am on the wrong thread my friend, because these threads(not just the HE-500 one) are not just for praising and justifying paying hundreds of dollars on headphones that many a times are flawed even(not good...- D4rkst3EL

HiFiman HE-500 (HE as in High End) Proving to be an enjoyable experience in listening.
I am sorry but I find it kinda hard to trust such opinions. Are the HE-500 twice as good as headphones costing half as much meaning 200-300$. I doubt they are even though I have not heard them. And remember HE-500 started being sold at what price, 900$? Imo buying them at such price was...- D4rkst3EL

Hifiman HE-400i and HE-560: From CES to Pre-Launch
I am interested in buying a pair of HE-500 myself, but seeing these new models will be like 150g grams it got me thinking. How do most of you find the weight of the HE-500 for long periods, like 2-4 hours. Thank you- D4rkst3EL

New DENON "Music Maniac" & "Urban Raver" Lines: D7100, D600, D400 & C300 Impressions Thread
I would like to give these a try despite the negatives that I have read. I would like to ask though if the ear pads are replaceable and where can I find/buy those. I have seen on amazon the D7000/5000/2000 pads but nowhere the d600/d7100 pads- D4rkst3EL

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
I think V-Moda would very much be of my liking, and I must try them/buy them sometime in the future. Thing is I already have a closed headphone and I would like to experience an open one. Good choice though- D4rkst3EL

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
No I don;t mind at all :) Actually it is more about getting to know similar headphones that are alternatives to the X1. But the earpads are an issue to me. I have for example the K171 for years and the pads and cable were destroyed over time. I just changed those and voila. Like new :) ...- D4rkst3EL

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
I said for around the same amount of money, meaning more expensive too, but not like double the price ofc, in case someone wanted to be *smart* and suggest headphones like HD800 or LCD-3. Ofc less expensive than the x1 would be welcome. Anyway seeing that you have not suggested anything so...- D4rkst3EL

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
No offense to Mad Lust Envy ofc, but because one person said so doesn't mean it's the absolute truth Firstly, thank you for you answers I was not asking for a headphone with the exact same signature. Just the closer one to X1. Also I don't see why...- D4rkst3EL

[New] Philips Fidelio X1
I wonder why no one has asked this question so far, if it has been asked I am sorry but I must have missed it although I have been through the 258 pages. Which is the closest/similar sounding headphone to the X1, for approximately the same amount of money if not less.- D4rkst3EL
