Analytical IEM recommendation at $100 and $150 pricepoints?
It's been a long time since I've last posted here, but was wondering what people would recommend. I am looking for new IEMs in the $100 and perhaps $150 price range. I know it's still on the budget side, but I figure that the extra $50 could change some recommendations, so looking at both...- acousticguitar

Hows the JVC FX55 compared to the Creative Ep630
i just got my ep630's and have been listening for less than an hour. they are okay for the money. they sure arent my mdr-7506s, but not too bad. i tend to agree more with digdub's assessment as i listen. (too late to get the FX55's now!) had i known, i would get the fx55s. the ep630...- acousticguitar

Hows the JVC FX55 compared to the Creative Ep630
is it just me or do the 2 comparisons conflict? btw, the fx55 is much cheaper in white via amazon or buy. i am paying almost 40 for my EP-630s and i could get the fx55 whites for 25- acousticguitar

EP630 v CX300 v MD33
SORRY, forgot the JVCs. So FX55/77 v. EP-630. Any thoughts? I'm leaning toward Creative. (though I am *SO* tempted to get ER-6i's)- acousticguitar

EP630 v CX300 v MD33
Okay, been reading a lot... and these 3 seem to be the top budget IEMs so far as I can tell. (my head is spinning) So... of these 3 (unless ppl have more suggestions), which one is going to get me the most balanced, clear/detailed sound? Flat is good. Is there anything I am missing in...- acousticguitar

advice needed - budget earbuds
Okay, the Creatives look nice. Any other suggestions in this price range? Again, looking for a balanced, accurate sound. (I've been doing research and the most I'm considering on spending is for a set of ER-6i's, as ppl seem to think of Etymotics the same way as the 7506--very analytical)...- acousticguitar

I haven't really considered IEM's at this point, but it would be primarily for commute purposes. I'm not sure if i like the idea of a set of headphones that create a tight suction within the ear canal. Are there any IEM's that can block out ambient noise to some degree but not so crazy as to...- acousticguitar

advice needed - budget earbuds
Looking to buy some budget (cheap) earbuds for my daily commute, so I thought I should ask here. My normal phones: Sony MDR-V7506 (its fraternal twin is the V6) Many of my friends have the HD580 or HD280pro, but I much prefer my cans. I like accuracy in my headphones. Then brightness at the...- acousticguitar
