So there's basically four options I am looking at at the moment. Asus Xonar U7 Fiio e7 Creative SB X-Fi Surround 5.1 PRO Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi HD Asus Xonar apparently doesn't give 7.1 to headsets. Fiio e7 is getting kind of old. Creative is generally kind of ****ty from...- Chronark

External Sound Card for my Sennheiser PC 360.
I have already looked into it, but Astro support said the mixamp depended on the existing sound card. I know next to nothing about sounds cards and audio technology in general, so I really have no clue, but I kind of counted the Astro mixamp out after that. Was I misinformed?- Chronark

I recently bought a new laptop and the only description of the onboard audio was "Sound Blaster X-FI MB3 Audio 7.1ch", which I assume isn't the best.(?)
