Just curious if any previous owners of the dacmagic plus have tried the new dacmagic M200 and how it compares... apparently they improved the amp. I'm still rocking my dacmagic plus from 2014. Only complaint is 2 leds have burnt out but the functions still work.

Yes this was the method I was referring to in my last sentence. I've done it before to replace the headband pads. So in the case of replacing the whole headband, the difference is I would just have to remove both sides instead of only 1 with the pad replacement.

Just here to chime in that I've had my T20 that i purchased since it first released around 2016. The memory wire is mangled and looks really bad and the gold plating on the jack has faded but the earphones still perform flawlessly. What's funny is that I was worried the wire was gonna snap...

Yes there is a difference. The line out for the a40 is pretty weak, so most probably your amp will need to be on high gain mode.

Gosh...the same thing is happening to mine, though to a lesser degree. Not sure if it's because i left it too long in the box. I've already replaced the earpads but can't find a replacement for the headband pad in stock anywhere... :/

Hey guys, So after like a year of leaving my HD700 in the box, i opened them up today to have a listen and realised the headband pads have started to deteriorate (small black flakes come off when i rub them with my fingers). However, I can't seem to find anyone selling this replacement part...

If you loved the ma750s, I'm extremely certain you'll enjoy the T20s at it is a noticeable upgrade. Can't speak for the Shures tho. But I've had the T20s for quite a while now and I can tell you that i have no intention of upgrading or switching earphones at all. Highly recommended.

Just tried ryanjsoo's foam ring mod yesterday. The peaks are definitely dulled somehow as I listened to songs where I've been hearing some form of sibilance previously. If u guys haven't alrdy, do give it a try. Cheap mod that works well :))

I just heard the HD800 and HD800S for the first time ever. Listened for about an hour or so and my oh my are they a treat. Connected to an Audiolab M-One, the soundstage is better and the overall sound more coherent then the HD700 on my setup. But who knows, maybe the M-One is the main...

These are definitely punchy down low. You will not be disappointed.

Hmm ok i guess i have confirmed that my card has reached its limit. Used windows cmd diskpart to confirm that it was not in "read-only" mode but still could not write or delete any files (the card has been hard locked). I ordered a new one so all's good. 

Ok I just did that. Converted to both WAV and mp3 but still same problem. Then i realised something weird. For some reason, Even though i deleted the FLAC files and replaced them with mp3, it shows the files being played as FLAC (meaning for some reason the files are still there after I delete...
