My list, 1. Stax SR-009(great details, best transparent, very satisfied mid and bass) 2. HD800(very balance and very transparent, wide soundstage) 3. LCD-3(very warm sound, much better than HD650. bass is very good) 4. TH900(I like TH900 sound very much, though it is not very balance...- ClassicalHIFI

Quote: Thanks for your advice. I think the bass of LCD-3 and HD650 is very perfect. And HE-500‘s bass is also good. Perhaps this is a misconception.- ClassicalHIFI

Hi David. I have a question about HD800. I find HD800 lacks some bass after 300 hours using and. I like classical and jazz. My system is ECC-1+spl phonitor+HD800/T1. What about do you think this problem and how to resolve it. Thank you very much.- ClassicalHIFI

Great article! But I find that HD800 is perhaps lack some bass. My system is ECC-1+spl phonitor+HD800. After more than 300 hours listening, I think It is most suitable for classic music and jazz. But it is not suitable for pop. There is a little more sibilant.- ClassicalHIFI
