Follow-up: It seems that the app will advance to the next track as normal if the phone isn't in sleep mode (If the screen is still on, it will advance to the next track). But if the phone screen isn't on, the app will not advance to the next track, but ONLY with hi-fidelity audio files.

I've been using the Can Opener app for a few years, and will often use it 3-4 days a week while at work. It has always been the best iOS app I've found to use while on the go. Unfortunately, it seems like it's no longer available, and the current app won't function when iOS updates to iOS 11...

My very limited (1 day) experience with the U12 vs. the W4R is that I've taken about 5-6 db off my listening (according to Can Opener) and it sounds just as loud, if not slightly louder than I'm used to listening. So I agree that the lack of fatigue is not a placebo.

Well, that's nice to hear as I'll mostly be using an iPhone, iPad, or MBP to listen to my U12's. Hopefully they'll get shipped within the next couple of days (Serial #20). If they don't ship this week, I'll be quite discouraged. They've been delayed plenty long, and some 10's and 12's went out...

I remember Shure e2c's using a pretty wide bore. Maybe not as wide as the 64 Audio U-series, I'm not sure. Anybody know for certain?   In all honesty, I think I may have some old e2c foam tips in a cabinet somewhere. If they would fit, I'm pretty sure they'd provide a good seal. 

If you look back a number of pages on this thread, somebody offered a very thorough review of many tips. Spin fits are some of the most mentioned, but there have been others too.

No shipping confirmation for my U12 just yet (Serial #20). I would guess that means it'll be shipped sometime next week. :)

The last update indicated the first U12 models would begin shipping out at the end of this week. Which means U8's should be done going out this week. Personally, I found their language use of "this week" and "next week" challenging, especially since their update came out on a Friday or...

Encouraging to hear. I ordered some spinfits and now I'm just waiting for the U12 to be delivered. I generally prefer a tip that can go pretty deep into the ear canal, but comply doesn't make their Professional series in the 500 size. If the Spinfits don't work for me, I'll just keep trying.

This is good to hear. I ordered a couple pairs of Spinfits based on some posts here. Depending on some more reviews of the JVC spiral dots, I may give those a try in the future as well.
