Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...
It's just Ikea's build a desk thing. You go buy the top and your choice of legs. I made the monitor stand with a piece of their shelving and some kind of kitchen hardware, don't remember what. It was on a life hacker article I'm pretty sure.- SpencerWood

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions
I'm sorry... but how in the world could a cable ever change the soundstage. Or really anything. I just, I don't know.- SpencerWood

Somehow my premium DT880s are extremely uncomfortable :( where to next?
One of the major reasons I purchased the DT880 was the praise that they receive in comfort. Coming from the M50s, I didn't appreciate the weight of the metal headband down on the top of my head. It gave me major headaches. I've used my Beyers for about a week now and they are even worse at this...- SpencerWood

The Beyerdynamic DT880 Discussion thread
Well I've officially had my DT880's for a week. I have the premium 250 ohm version and they're hooked up to my Fiio E07K. Out of the box... I pretty much hated them. No joke. I preferred my M50s by quite a large margin. I think it had to do with the fact that I wasn't used to a larger...- SpencerWood

HD600 vs HD650 vs Maddogs vs DT880's for metal/rock and all-round use.
I listen to literally every genre on my 880s and don't have any gripes.- SpencerWood

I sure as heck hope these don't actually take 20 days to get here. Freaking pumped!!! If these turn out to be all that I've read them to be they will probably be my last head-fi purchase for the foreseeable future.- SpencerWood

So I just received my Jaycar Pro monitors in the mail... Everything sounds incredibly muddy compared to my M50s. Am I crazy?
I mean I wasn't expecting anything crazy, the headphones are in the same price range, but for the most part people here on head-fi seem to say that the Yoga Drivers > the M50s in terms of mids, and soundstage. I'm listening to Dvorak's ninth, jumping back and forth between the two out of my Fiio...- SpencerWood

Would the Fiio E07K Andes provide enough power for 250 ohm DT880s?
Hi, I'm looking to get into open headphones. I'm looking at the Beyers because they're supposed to be insanely comfortable and I can get them ~$250 used. The only amp that I currently own is the E07K though. Will the combo work well enough or should I not bother until I have the cash for...- SpencerWood

Fidelify - Spotify with ASIO, WASAPI, and VST plugins support!!!
Well I thought it was fixed. But I have the same problems after the first login. Crashing at startup. The delete the directory trick still works... but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle each time :/ oh well. Maybe it's a Windows 8 issue.- SpencerWood

Yeah, I've grabbed new files, as well as an older version. I sent an email to the bugs email address yesterday, but I haven't received a reply yet. It sort of seems unlikely that I will get a reply, I mean the last version was released in like September last year. Meh. I was really enjoying what...- SpencerWood

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the issue :/ It's not running in the background and I've done numerous restarts, like I said I've even tried a system restore. I'm bummed, seems like I bugged it for my computer by tinkering with the settings.- SpencerWood

Fidelify - Spotify with ASIO, WASAPI, and VST plugins support!!!
Hi, I was wondering if I could get some help with this program. I enabled WASAPI and it was working fine, but now it won't let me open the program-it crashes on startup. I'm quite bummed :/ I've tried a system restore to a few days ago, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling my audio drivers...- SpencerWood
