What kind of inputs can that receiver take?

Those amplifiers are interesting. Looking at those subwoofers, I am guessing that one would connect the amplifier to the subwoofer then to the speakers?

Well I guess I don't since I could stack the Dacmini on top of something else. Though I confess to being an utter noob at all this arrangement. I take it a receiver is a kind of amplifier?   Though I would prefer something more compact though than that Yamaha.

I wouldn't mind a sub if it works. For those monitors you suggest, do I use the left/right outputs or the coaxial from the Dacmini CX?

I'm looking to spend 800USD at most I think. I have enough desk space to mount the two. As for room size... probably 150 sq ft? My desk is right next to the window on one side of the room.

Does anyone know of a 2.1 powered speaker setup that goes well with the Dacmini CX?

Do these problems afflict the A5+ as well?
