I'm thinking about getting a V1 or V2 for a Sennheiser HD600 - which one would you prefer and why?   Thanx a lot f.  

I tried the 558 on my Sansa Clip - pretty good, no Amp needed. 598 should be nearly the same.

Sorry for the late reply! The 540 have good mids, lots of highs (sometimes too much), "reserved" but existing bass. Actually, pretty balanced with lots of detail and a good "three-dimensionality" (don't know how to say it in english). I hope you understand... ;-) flatulenzio

Hello together,   i really like the sound of my Sennheiser HD540 Rerference II. The Problem: I don't like it's fit - i prefer the newer series, e.g. HD515 (but don't like its sound).   Is there a Headphone, which sounds nearly similar?  I tried 558, but it wasn't that satisfying...
