Awesome, I may pick up a used set of HD 650s from amazon and see how I like them! So would the Schiit Magni/Modi stack that have bee fine wit the HD 650s or would an amp upgrade be a descent idea?

So would you say the HD 650s would be a fair complement to the HE-400s?  Otherwise I may just continue to save and maybe pick up something higher end down the line.

So I have recently ordered the V-Moda M-100 because I thought i would use them for more portable use (such as going to the library and such). I do like them but how ever I'm thinking maybe I can get more bang for my buck buy getting a less portable headphone since I really only use them at home...

Just to update you I ordered the V-moda m-100s and recieved them yesterday. Thus far I love them and think I will keep them. While I also ordered the 990 250 ohms along with a desktop headphone amplifer. I am waiting on those to test them out.

Well what im thinking of doing right now is getting the m-100s testing them out if I like them I will keep them, if not ill return them get a pair of 990s for home use with an amp and then get something else for when I go the the library. Maybe ill just keep my Beats and just make deal for that...

Would you suggest getting an amp with the m-100s? I am really not sure what I should get a amp with and what does not need one with them or not.

Plus i am not sure how my roommates would feel if they have to listen to my music constantly when im on my computer..

Well since the 990s are openended I think I am leaning towards the m-100s but I am waiting till I test out my friends akgs plus he wants to test out his Audio-Technica ATH-50s. But at the current moment I am thinking at the m-100s will be best. I will probably just order them from amazon to test...
