  Could you compare the sound signature between Yamaha HPH-MT8 and Audio Technica M40X? If there's not much difference than I think I'll stick with M40X since it's way cheaper. :D

  Awesome! Does this need amp when listening in phone or onboard PC audio? Also what is the sound signature like? Hope it's flat/natural like Yamaha HS8 speaker.   Really hope Yamaha HPH-MT8 be available here in Indonesia and there's mic cable mod for it.

Awesome. I think the 5-6KHz spike is still there no matter what player you use, but SpinFit eartips does reduce the sibilance a lot. :)

Got a quick test on sony mh1c today, nice bass, but lacking sub-bass compared to philips she9700. The great news was mh1c produced more pumping mid-bass, i could hear the bass from bass drum pedal much more. Nice iem still. :) Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
