Got my new tubes today.. The sound is different...I think it sounds better now..

ok, I swapped the small tubes and the noise changed sides..So, I guess that answers that..I need some new small ones ef95s   Any cheap but good places to buy em? fast delivery would be awesome lol

Today, I was listening to music and heard a static kind of white noise on the left side. I have a La Figaro 332S amp. It's has always been dead silent until today.   How and what do I check to see whats up with it?   The source turned off and I still hear the noise. I listen through...

hmm, I will try all the way on the Dac...The manual said the rca outputs were for powered speakers n stuff like that..So, I thought it would work but I dunno... I hear ZERO distortion at levels most people would not listen to. Slight hearing probs from shooting guns most of my life.

Another question...I have an Audioengine D1 I am using as my DAC. With the RCA's out the back when I turn the volume on the D1 the sound level changes on the 332 amp on what I hear. I have it at mid level right now on the D1...Should that be max, mid, 90% or until you hear any noise then back...

Gotta thank everyone who said get the DT880. They are very comfy, got good bass without sounding like a subwoofer boom. The highs are nice and tight.. I will find out this weekend how they stand up to 8hr wear athon

Ok, was told they are heat tubes...to get the heat up and away. Can take em off or leave em on.

So, the high heat is normal for these? Its my first night listening to them(sounds AWESOME btw) OUUUCHHH!! I thought I burnt myself the whole unit is hot(Cept the knobs)..I mean this will be great in the winter and all lol but is the heat ok? should a fan be on it?     Oh yeah, someone...

What are the black metal things that are covering my tubes on the amp? Just got the amp out of the box and wondered...Cause in pics I see people always have the tubes shown proudly..   Probably a dumb question but want to know if they should stay or remove them...maybe they are there for...

lol, when in doubt read the manual.. Yeah, the rear rca's are meant for powered speakers or a receiver..so it should work fine...

so, the 600ohm is the creme of the crop dt880 but downside you need big power...The 250 is like what 90% as good or?

Alright, it sounds like the DT880 32ohm are what I will get. It seems to meet everything that is important for what I use headphones for atm.   Thanks for input..oh found the He-400 for $375 shipped but everyone seems to say DT880 for me..
