The new IEM of Vsonic VSD 3S ( impression updated by smailbz)
I am quite carefull with them, always wrap them around my fingers into a bundle and keep them in the pouch. Problem with the cable, as opposed to that of the GR07, is that it seems that the wiring is twisting inside the cable. Maybe this is what causes the cable failure.- LooptroopRocker

The new IEM of Vsonic VSD 3S ( impression updated by smailbz)
Thoroughly dissapointed with the cable quality of these, bought them last month after my GR07BE cable broke at the strain relief after 9 months of use and after less than a month the (noticably inferior) cable of the VSD3S has broken down at the strain relief as well. I am not amused...- LooptroopRocker

Awesome review! But could you also comment on the isolation? Is it on par with the P5?- LooptroopRocker

Review of Fostex TH-7B: "Attack of the Monkey's Paw"
Sweet. Thanks for the review. Honestly, I am a bit disappointed these are no real improvement above the Denon, esp. since they share a similar driver background. Still planning on getting the TH-5?- LooptroopRocker

Worst headphones you've ever heard? / Low-fi experiences?
Sennheiser HD457. Urgh. Sounded like they put a carpet on the drivers and it felt like that too!- LooptroopRocker

Am loving mine! I bought them off Nulliverse, who has been great dealing with, and they sound very close to my CAL! (which is a good thing) but with better isolation and less boomy bass (both positives). Also love the cable, it feels thick and soft, and the stock tips work fine for me. Great...- LooptroopRocker

Calling out any Denon AH-C351 owners. Please confirm their awesomeness!
Hi, I have been a member for a quite a few years now and over the course of this time I have had the chance too listen to some premium gear. See my signature for some of the gear I have owned, other than which I have also auditioned to considerable extent the HD25-II, HJE900 and the HD555. As is...- LooptroopRocker

JVC HA-FXT90 Thread
Hi Jambon, The crackling sound that you are hearing is known as driver flex and the FXT90 seem to be notorious for having it. Driver flex won't effect the sound quality so you can be sure that the FXT90 is not for you. Unfortunately that's about all the help I can offer as I have no...- LooptroopRocker

Hey Ruckdive, how much did you pay for yours via Jaben? I looked it up on their site but could only find a bundle price for the fxt90 (together with some goldring headphones and an amp). Thanks in advance!- LooptroopRocker

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Hey Joker, If I had to chose between the FXT90 or C710 for mainly electronic music (looking for quick bass with good impact) and female vocalists (forward midrange) which would you recommend? I can get them for the same price and cant decide between the two, any help would be greatly...- LooptroopRocker

Favorite sites for discovering new music?
Hi, I am curious to hear about your favorite sites for discovering new music and for reading about music in general. Please no poorly written or overloaded blogs, but also no pretentious write-ups a-la-pitchfork. I am looking for sites that you visit regularly, have a good lay-out and rating...- LooptroopRocker

How is the fit with these when wearing them down? tienbasse mentioned something about strain reliefs hitting his ear lobs when wearing them down, which prevented a deep insert, are others experiencing the same?- LooptroopRocker

One last question springs to mind, I have rather small ear canals, with Sony Hybrids I prefer the smallest SS size and a small size in general with Sennheiser tips as well, from the pictures the tips on these look huge! Need I worry about that?- LooptroopRocker

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Yup its the driver flex in the FXT90 that worries me as well. It could be the case that only those who had experienced driver flex actually spoke out and it therefore seems that its a common problem. Will be hoping to hear more about non-driver flex cases!- LooptroopRocker
