Fake Shure SE535 earphones
TThanks for the answer. I do not care so much about the warranty, it is worth the risk, but getting fakes is a risk I cannot take! Maybe I just buy the SE 425 new from Amazon for the same money. I am not too sure I would tell the difference. Do you know?- Valdo

Fake Shure SE535 earphones
Hi, do you think you can get fake SE535 special red edition in a box? Here in Spain I see a couple of guys selling those around 300 USD in their original unopened box. Unfortunately they are quite far away from me and I would have to pay before receiving and seeing the stuff. thanks Vlad- Valdo

Android phones and USB DACs
I have bought a Motorola Moto g4 Play and it works perfectly with the Sony PHA-1A. Just plug it into the micro USB 0 of the DAC using the cable provided in the box and enjoy. I used to have a cheap phone before (Doogee) which worked fine with a TEAC but nothing else. The G4 Play is cheap...- Valdo

Cubot H1 Android 5.1 5200mah Dual Sim Slot Micro SD slot OTG 5.5 Inch Screen beast of a product but I have an OTG problem -please help!!!!
Hello, I just did the same (g4 play) and it worked immediately. Bye bye cheap phones. The g4 play is not that expensive and as I use it exclusively as music player (with Tidal and Deezer), it seems fine for me. Considering the time spent on getting the doogee to accept a DAC (apart from the...- Valdo

The fix I gave you failed to work tonight. It is clear that there is no pleasure with the pain it takes to make it work. I am going to return my DAC and get one that I know works with my Doogee. I hope the higher end android work better!- Valdo

Cannot get the USB DAC to work on my Android 5.1 phone
Hi, I have an android 5.1 phone. I have tried the Sony PHA1 and the OPPO-HA2, plugged with various OTG cables, and in all cases, whatever I do, the following happens: - the device is recognised as a multimedia device by the phone - the phone charges - but the sound goes out of the phone's...- Valdo

Best (cheap) phone for USB DAC
Hi, I just bought a Teac HA-P50 portable Amp/DAC, looks nice but I ufortunately have a Samsung S4 with Lollipop and it is not a option to downgrade it. It is a company, secured phone, but I get it for free. What I want is to use the music on the phone and Spotify / Tidal. So the phone...- Valdo

Good online shop for cables in the US or retail in Manhattan?
Hi friends, I am travelling to the US in two weeks and I wondered if there is a good online shop to buy interconnect RCA cables that I could have delivered there before I arrive. I often have the impression that Hifi can be much cheaper in the US. I have no issue buying second hand. I am...- Valdo

Reply to review by 'valdo' on item 'Audio-Technica ATH-ES7 Portable Headphones, Black'
Wires ARE weak. Ok I may not have treated them with the greatest care as I travelled a lot and the wire sometime got messsed up in the bag but the wires did break in only a few months. I wished portable headphones were sturdier.- Valdo

[LIST][OPINION] Amp recommendations for Fostex/Denon Headphones.
Indeed Johnnygrandis seems very happy with the combination, thank you! Is it enough o add this DIY to the amp that work with the denon? I think I will give it a try (and get the Violectric or woo anyway if there is no too much risk my wife thinks I am getting mad).- Valdo

[LIST][OPINION] Amp recommendations for Fostex/Denon Headphones.
Thanks Kendoji. I do not know how the D5000 compares to these two headphones, but I bought them not even a year ago so I will rather make the most of them and then upgrade. At this time I will have a look at the LCD-2! But later only. And I undersnat that to make the most of the D5000, it seems...- Valdo

[LIST][OPINION] Amp recommendations for Fostex/Denon Headphones.
Hi! Great topic, very interesting. My wife made it clear that I am listening to too much music too loud. So I need to make more use of my denon D5000. I have a fairly nice hifi, mostly made of a French mid high-end equipment (Atoll Electronique: http://www.atoll-electronique.com/uk/), a...- Valdo

[LIST][OPINION] Amp recommendations for Fostex/Denon Headphones.
Quote: Hi WiR3D, Thanks for this, it is very interesting. So if 16bit 48kHz (Ipod) is good enough, would you conclude that with a DAC there is a nice and noticeable improvement? Say for me to the other hemisphere. Valdo- Valdo

[LIST][OPINION] Amp recommendations for Fostex/Denon Headphones.
Thank you amigo for your swift answer. the issue is that I have the impression that a portable DAC, even if the price did not matter, maybe overkill for a device that is limited by apple at 16bit/48k. What do you think, there would be a noticeable improvement? And if there was no such...- Valdo

[LIST][OPINION] Amp recommendations for Fostex/Denon Headphones.
Hello everybody, I own a D5000 and I love it. I mostly use it travalling, paired with a Ipod 5.5 80g playing lossless audio and a P4 Warbler iBasso amp. I know very little about amp, impedance and this sort of things unfortunately, but what I can say is that I am unable to tell the difference...- Valdo
