I exclusively stream, so Audirvana is great--- mainly because I use pro quality Vst3 eq. But Audirvana is super quirky. Not very stable. Any other way to have a high quality streaming player that can use these plugins? I'm addicted to Fabfilter---- by far my best audio purchase.

Yes----it's much better. And there is a decent 10 band parametric add on. But I'm much happier using my Yinlumei W1 portable( transportable) Windows DAP. I can use Audirvana and studio grade plugins. I got rid of my good desktop setup.

Actually, the real art comes with crossover design. I design speakers I have a crossover design mentor who designs in the uber hifi market. You can put the exact same drivers in the exact same box. Depending on crossover design, one can sound great and one like crap. It totally freaks me out...
