When dealing with the few IEM's I've used I do get better SQ with cleaner ears. I in no way believe this is placebo but it's a canal, the less blockage the more air or anything can flow like a pipe.

  Yea, that would really suck.  I will have a few more conversations with them, really dont want it taking a month there and back and no telling how long they will have it.  I only have a clip+ to fall back on and once you've heard the dx50, you can't just go back.

I was comparing the two, before I got the dx50, and it seems to be a bit more powerful but also as neautral from my understanding.  It's quite tempting but does come with a higher price tag.  I was so torn.  Still not a lot of fuss over it, so I wander how the two really compare in real time.

  No, it's random buzzing.  Sometimes if I turn it off and back on it will fix the problem. The LO has zero noise in it.  I'm trying different firmwares so hoping that may alleviate the problem. If it's not constant I figure it's a software problem vs a hardware one.

  I've installed and scanned library and let it run overnight.  I'm now at work and having no issues thus far. No freezing or background noise experienced, only a wider soundstage.  I'll keep the Batch tool in mind, but so far so good. Good work   Happy Listening

I haven't noticed it myself but I only listened to 1.6 for 5 minutes before flashing to SU

Update: Update: just came from best buy and they are having a nice sale on Samsung microsd, so I exchanged my 32 gb Sandisk for a 64gb Samsung for $10 more, what a deal! I put my music on and I've had no freezing occur so far! Hope I can now go back to SU 1.3.3 now for that soundstage!

  Oh, I completely agree.  Funny thing is, this morning the sound hasn't had any buzzing, but it's frozen twice.  I think I may switch sd card tonight.  As far as this combination, yes it's perfect depending on the genre of music you listen to!
