    [Impression] FiiO E10

After sitting idle for a while, my sound seems to be getting distorted. Unplugging the USB cable from the E10 and plugging it back in fixes the problem.   Mine is a "version C" I believe, with the bass boost on / off graphic on the front.   Is this a common problem, or something that can...

    Fiio E10 Problem

I have the same issue with mine. If I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, everything works great. I don't get it.

    V-MODA Crossfade M-80 Reviews

I just got my pair. I like the sound - it's nothing spectacular, but for my normal computer use (gaming, occasional music, etc.) they will work out nicely.   I'm having some comfort problems. If I get them positioned right, they feel ok, but I feel like the headband is a bit too small, even...

Need Recommendations For Iphone/Ipad Compatible Headphones ($200 or Less)

I definitely recommend the V-Moda M-80s. They seem to fit the bill on every level.

Thinking of returning my ATH-AD700's and getting V-MODA M-80's

Thanks for the recommendations. I guess one of the biggest issues is coming from an on-ear headset, Sennheiser PC-160, and going to something that encompasses my entire ear. I'll give it a week or so, then make a decision. :)

Thinking of returning my ATH-AD700's and getting V-MODA M-80's

It might just be the fact that I'm not used to wearing headphones quite this big. They're nice in the fact that they're light, and the head support at the top is wonderful. Something about the way they feel around my ears just doesn't work for me though. They itch a bit, after even just a few...

Thinking of returning my ATH-AD700's and getting V-MODA M-80's

Are there any other good suggestions in the M-80 size category? Are the HD-25's around the same size, and what about SR80i's or 225i's?

Thinking of returning my ATH-AD700's and getting V-MODA M-80's

Hmm, tough decision then. I guess my biggest problem is that I just can't get comfortable with headphones that completely envelop my ears like the AD700s. The pads tend to rub against my cheeks and jaw, which causes them to itch after a while (stubble).    Maybe I should just give the AD700s...

Thinking of returning my ATH-AD700's and getting V-MODA M-80's

I just got my ATH-AD700s in yesterday - my first pair of "good" headphones. The sound quality is decent, though it didn't blow me away as much as I thought it would, coming from a simple Sennheiser PC-160 headset, and driving them with my Essence STX headphone output.   They're not bad, and...

Without Fiio LOD Cable Makes a Huge Difference?

The LOD cable is designed to bypass any internal amplifiers and other devices that are designed to work with the iPod's normal 3.5mm headphone jack. So yes, there could be a sound difference.

    Where to buy Westone 2's?

Quote: Thank you! I was a bit weary of them after reading a couple negative reviews on resellerratings.com, but that 15% code just put me over the edge. Ordered!   Thanks again!

    Where to buy Westone 2's?

I'm going out of my mind. I finally decided that Westone 2's fit the bill for what I want, and now I can't seem to find them in stock in any of their authorized resellers that has a decent rating on resellerratings.com.   I originally placed an order at B&H, but they had to cancel due to an...

Looking for IEM Recommendations - $150-250, Rock / Metal

Ugh. I just got a notice from B&H that they had an inventory error, so they didn't actually have the Westone 2's in stock. Hmm... now what?

Looking for IEM Recommendations - $150-250, Rock / Metal

True. I don't regret getting the S4's either - I find them very comfortable, and they give me something to use if I'm worried about losing or breaking my more expensive IEMs. :)

    You guys arn't very helpful..

I've had the opposite experience. There is a great amount of information here, and people tend to be both helpful and friendly. I joined just a few days a go and I've already had a very successful thread that helped me to determine what I should purchase.   Sometimes you have to do some of...

Looking for IEM Recommendations - $150-250, Rock / Metal

Yeah, that was my primary reason for this thread. I tend to get buyer's remorse / upgrade itch fairly easily, but I'm trying to tone it down as much as possible to keep on a budget. So, I wanted to buy something that was well regarded and well liked, so that I wouldn't hear the "if only I had...

Looking for IEM Recommendations - $150-250, Rock / Metal

Maybe, maybe not... I've been running around with a PC-160 headset on my desktop and Klipsch S4's for my mobile needs for several years now.

Looking for IEM Recommendations - $150-250, Rock / Metal

Well, I went ahead and ordered Westone 2's from B&H. My biggest reasons for doing so are the cords (I absolutely hate bulky cords with memory), and because I read a few complaints from people with GR07's that lost a channel due to wire strain. That, combined with the fact that Westone seems to...

Looking for IEM Recommendations - $150-250, Rock / Metal

Man, now I'm just torn between GR07's and Westone 2's.   I have a funny feeling that I'd appreciate the sound of the dynamic drivers on the GR07's more, but I also think that I'd like the size / fit / cord of the Westone 2's more.   Too bad the housing on the Westone 4's is larger and...

Looking for IEM Recommendations - $150-250, Rock / Metal

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I'm pretty much eliminating the Monster Turbine Pros from the list due to their inflated price on Amazon. I'm now torn between the Westone 2's for $239 (might be a bit analytical, but supposed to be very comfortable), and the GR07 for $179. Tough choice...

Looking for IEM Recommendations - $150-250, Rock / Metal

Hi guys,   I've been reading up on various Head-Fi reviews and impressions for a while now, but I just can't decide what to drop my money on.   I'm using a set of Klipsch S4's right now. They fit well and they're overall so-so, but I want something with better clarity. I prefer something...
