Bought AKG K272HD sounds no different?

Hey guys, i've just purchased a pair of AD700's for gaming, djing and other general computer stuff, anyway i have a Creative X-Fi Titanium sound card and i'm wondering would this be fine on its own to produce good sound or will i need a amp etc?- Razargh

Newbie in need of headphone help.
I'm kinda an all rounder for music, but i do listen to dubstep etc on occasion. I have a Creative X-Fi Titanium card also, would this be good enough for sound quality alone or will i need an amp? I wouldn't like a "heavy" bass just one that is punchy with a good neutral sound, these...- Razargh
