Looking to upgrade from my Sennheiser HD650 to something (even) better! Greatful for suggestions!
Hello! I currently own the Sennheiser HD650 and love them. They are outstanding headphones, no doubt. However, I have recently been thinking it might be time for an upgrade. So you friendly people out there, I kindly ask for a few suggestions as to what the next step would be for me after...- chayYEAH

Need Help with my HD650
Okay I might have a major problem now, no idea. I opened them, had a look, all looked clean, and then I wanted to have a look at the driver, but when I wanted to take it out one of the 4 little plastic tabs which keep the driver in place broke off. Is this just bad or very bad? Anybody...- chayYEAH

Need Help with my HD650
First of all the soundcard has a built-in headphone amp whch can handle up to 600 ohm so i guess power is not the problem, especially because they worked just fine for more than 2 weeks. The quality of the music I listen to is good enough, I have listened to the same music with the same...- chayYEAH

Need Help with my HD650
It does only happen if the songs are a bit bass-heavy and i turn up the volume to like more than 20% which is a fairly normal volume though, and only on the left side, so the right headphone appears to be alright. The sound seems as though something in the headphone is actually causing it but...- chayYEAH

Need Help with my HD650
Anybody? The noise is a sort of white noise and sounds a bit like a rattle, but only on the left ear, so the disturbing noise itself is unbalanced and repeats itself synchronically with the bass-heavy kicks.- chayYEAH

Right I did that and when I turn the EQ off there is no more clipping, but is it normal that the clipping does only happen on one side?- chayYEAH

Need Help with my HD650
Sounds plausible but this only just occurred 2 days ago, before it was fine. I'm pretty new to this scenario of having a good soundcard and really good headphones so I am really unexperienced, tell me if I am wrong on the assumption that it should've done the same straight away normally? ...- chayYEAH

Need Help with my HD650
Right so I got my HD650 for christmas and bought a new soundcard (Asus Xonar Essence STX). The headphones really sound amazing but a problem occurred 2 days ago: I wanted to listen to some minimal and I set my equalizer on my soundcard to Bass. But if I turn up the volume a bit so it's not...- chayYEAH

New to the world of Audiophiles and need some help!
Okay, so I pretty much decided to go for either an X-Fi Titanium HD or the Xonar Essence STX, can anybody tell me which one is better? And does anyone know if the Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe is better than these? Or is that one only really useful for watching movies? Because I could get that one...- chayYEAH

New to the world of Audiophiles and need some help!
Oh sorry, I should've pointed it out more clearly that all the information I am asking for refers to the HD650s now, as I am getting them for christmas, which is in 4 days^^ Was already wondering, as I am a 100% sure that the HD650s require headphone amps for one to get the best quality...- chayYEAH

New to the world of Audiophiles and need some help!
Okay so basically my soundcard is not actually good enough to drive these headphones so they sound as good as they could, right? Would it be enough to get proper headphone amps in order to experience the full quality or do I definitely need to get a new soundcard too? And yes, since...- chayYEAH

Hey, this is my first post on here as I really need some help/useful information right now, since I am pretty much new to the Audiophile world :) Right, first off, my current equipment: I own the Sennheiser HD595, which are awesome headphones in my opinion, and I drive them on my PC...- chayYEAH
