How can we determine our place on the list? I upgraded to Vi from an original Pulse contribution, which was made in October 2013. Feels like a lifetime ago. Everything about this debacle has been absurd.

The output impedance spec has been changed on the Mytek site from 10 ohms to 1.0 ohms. I believe the original spec was just a typo.

Awesome, thanks! It said 10 ohms previously, as did the press release from CES. I guess that was simply a typo and it should have said 1.0 ohms. :grinning:

The free 2G USB cable was for Vi backers who also got the Infinity upgrade. I did receive a 2G cable with my solid state Vi Dac Infinity. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your impressions, EVOLVIST. I am particularly interested in using the iCAN Pro as a preamp in the context of a speaker rig. For headphones I would almost certainly just use the iCAN's built-in amp, as you suggest.

If anyone has had an opportunity to use the iCan Pro as a line stage preamp, I'd be very interested to hear any impressions. I can't think of any other balanced tube preamp in this price range, and the features list is bonkers. I can only imagine that the sound quality will be superb as well.
